SWANProdutcs CSNLHFF5806CC Hose Reel Leader Hose with Female Connections 6' x 5/8", Green

I drilled hole in three 55 gallon food grade drums and added a boiler faucet at the bottom of each. I purchased one 4 Way Brass Garden Hose Splitter Heavy Duty Garden Tap on the middle barrel then connected the left and right barrels with these two hoses, I purchased. The barrel on the left takes the water from my garage roof and fills ALL the barrels through the hoses connected to the splitter. I can open the two unused connectors and fill a Tidy Cat Litter Bucket and insert the submersible sump pump into the bucket and fill as I water my garden! The hoses are PERFECT for allowing the water to move water in and out of all the barrels. Soooo Easy, the hoses perfect length and diameter to allow water to fill the bucket as fast as the sump pump moves the water. My hoses were key for this project.

Length & quality of the hose are good. The connecting parts can be deeper.

I don't know why it is so hard to find short garden hoses, especially since so many people have the outdoor reels and would need replacements....but, anyways.This works...but is it annoying to keep working. The screw on heads that attach to each end are very, very shallow. Because of this, when things move around, the screw cap will slightly loosen and start spraying water everywhere. I used a wrench to try and realllllly torque it down and it worked, but after a couple weeks, the same thing happened and it started to slip off again.I think this problem could be solved if the head was just a little deeper, so that it could better thread onto the ends better. I even used plumbers tape to try and keep it from sliding off, but that didn't help either (can see in the picture).Going to try and add some loctite, or something else, and see if something can stop the slipping.

Good product

The original connector hose on my caddy was rubber, without any petite tube sheathing. It bulged and leaked after only one year of use (maybe due to the MN weather).This replacement is definitely more durable. It also doesn’t kink up as much as the original. With six feet of length, I have enough slack to put a gradual curve between the faucet and the caddy.Overall, I’m very pleased with it.

I've used two of them for a month or two. No leaks so far, but you do need to firmly tighten the connector to the spigot to achieve that. The six foot length makes it easier to connect to a hose reel, and they're flexible enough for my purposes.

Very sturdy replacement leader hose for your hose reel. I bought a new hose reel and the connectinghose leaked like crazy. Bought this one and NO LEAKS! Make sure to check to see if you should buy Female to Female connectors or Male to Female.

It gets the job done but very cheap and probably wont last more than a year.

I bought this hose. It leaks. It leaks because they did not put rubber gaskets in the ends.Note that the rubber gaskets are visible in the product photo. So the product is not what appears in the photograph.

Appears to be working but there is a minor leak, probably from the washer not being top quality.
