7pcs airtight food storage containers

I bought the OXO Pop set, first. That set was very expensive, and I'm not sure it was worth the cost (but then again, I've only had it a week longer than this set, so I can't compare the longevity of the two). The OXO plastic is probably 1.5-2x as thick as the plastic of this set, but it scratched a little when I washed it with my dish brush (so I now only use a soft sponge to wash it, and did the same when I got this set). The lids on the OXO look sleeker and better quality, and the "pop" feature sounds cool but unless you're always trying to open the containers one-handed, it's not necessary. The OXO ones, while airtight, don't seem to seal and be as airtight as these ones. I put one star for the leak proof because these, like the OXO, are designed for dry foods, and should never be used to store wet foods. I imagine the clear plastic part would be leak-proof, but that's not what they're designed for, and it's probably not food safe to put wet foods in #6 plastic. As far as cleaning, these are very easy to clean if you follow the instructions. I definitely would steer clear off the dishwasher, or any sort of super hot or abrasive cleaners, as this type of plastic would likely warp, etch, scratch, or cloud (since even my thicker plastic OXO set got fine scratches the one time I used my dish brush to wash them). The instructions tell you how to take the lid apart to clean them. If you don't take them apart, you will end up with water (and maybe even dirt) stuck inside the lid, which will likely cause mold issues and cause the tension spring inside to rust, so take them apart and clean them properly and dry thoroughly before putting back together. These are smaller than the OXO nine piece set I got, but I actually like it because I can use my OXO set for stuff like full boxes of cereal, etc, and I can use this set for smaller volumes of stuff (and it fits easier in my teeny tiny apartment pantry, whereas the OXO ones sit on top of the refrigerator). If choosing between the $70+ OXO nine piece set and this $25 seven piece set, I'd go with this set all day (though I will still keep the OXO set because I like it and don't feel like returning it).

These containers do exactly what they are supposed to. I have my kitchen cabinets organized and looking really cute with these sleek looking containers. While the closer is not entirely ermetic, they keep items fresh and free of moths. I use a lot of legumes and flours and these containers are exactly what I needed. I love that they come in different sizes so I can organize my food items based on the quantity used and stack them so that I can see everything at a glance. These canisters are of good quality as well, they do not feel flimsy or too thin. The containers came with a white markers and lovely black labels that look really cute. My only issue is that the marker takes some time to dry and you need to be careful if you don/t want to have smudged labels. Other than that, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

This container system worked very well for our needs. We are major purchasers of bulk plant-based foods and this is a pretty airtight and very organized package for storing our items (lentils, rices, pastas, etc.) We like that they stack and do like the smaller sizes for little bits of food items. For our needs, we would have preferred a couple more of the mini containers and a couple less of the larger ones - but, especially for the price this was a great purchase. We liked having the label system that came with the containers too.

Great storage containters. But when they need to be cleaned, it can be aggravating. The lids have a suction device, which can and will take on water when washed. Takes extra time to dry. But when using, they are great.

I love these containers and the price was great. Very easy to use and clean, the tops were very simple to apart. These containers are hand-wash only. I use them for multiple things. They hold a lot more than you would think. I put a 2lb bag of rice in the medium container and a whole package and 1/2 for rice in the tallest. I also put a family size package of oreos in the large container. Just keep in mind you have to put them in and not just dump them. They have kept all things I have used them for fresh and crunchy. I put 2 bags of croutons in one of the large containers as well.

We love these containers. They have been so helpful in keeping our pantry organized. They are easy to use and the lids are interchangeable which is what I was looking for since my other set had different sized lids for each container and would be left with unused lids if my containers cracked or broke.

These look so nice in my kitchen! They help save so much space and make my pantry and cabinets look less cluttered. Using these also helped me find lots of things that were expired so I started writing the expiration dates on the bottom in permanent marker. The marker can be wiped off with hand sanitizer as needed. Sizing. Pay close attention to the sizes! Most of what I have come in quantities that exceed the capacity of these containers so I still have a few things in their original bags. Air tightness/flaws. I flipped the sugar canister upside down and while no sugar came out of the lid, quite a bit made its way into the seal. That’s odd because a seal should prevent anything from getting through. Also, the lids do come scratched but it’s not too noticeable. The labels. These are indeed reusable. I’m not sure if after a while the ink becomes so fixed to the label that it won’t come off, but when I tried it shortly after writing on it, it was easily removed with a damp paper towel. The writing slowly disappears after wiping (see pics). The only con is that once you stick the labels on, they’re very difficult to remove, so make sure it’s location will be exactly where you want before putting it on. Suggestions and cons. I wish we could buy these individually; I need a few more in a specific size but I’d have to repurchase the entire set. Also, containers from other sellers have either white lids or black lids with a white latch. Because these are solid black, be aware the colors of your lids won’t match if you buy more containers from somewhere else. Overall, these look VERY nice, and the stackability along with the square design save a ton of space! It has a pretty tight lid despite the ability of powdery substances to penetrate the seal. I would recommend!

The containers arrived formidably stuck to each other... Two remain stuck. Youtube video hacks were in vain. One had a chipped lid. The package did not contain the labels or pen. Not to mention the containers arrived almost two months after I ordered them and a week after the return date.
