BandaiHobby HG 1/144 #08 Leo NPD "Gundam Build Divers"

This kit was a delight. If you have built the HG Leo, then this is a slight upgrade in my opinion. The choice of getting to choose what head and shoulders (plus the added neck articulation) makes this have some good customizing potential. If you're a purist and need anime accuracy, then you'll definitely need some paint, but if you're a straight builder, you'll enjoy this. I just recommend adding something to the hip/thigh joint to make it a little less wiggly.

Overall satisfied. The colors are not represented appropriately. It's an HG Space Leo kit with extra parts for head/shoulders/torso. You can still make the OG Leo though. So the kit is purple with dark brown joints. Except the GBN extras which are light blue/grey. The colors honestly don't look great together. BUT for the price, I can't complain too much considering all the parts. The joints aren't great but it holds together okay.It's a great cheap alternative to buying the more expensive (and better quality) Space Leo. You get what you pay for though.

Definitely one I would custkmize though, but it already includes a good amount of alternative parts so that's good.

Wanted to like this, it came with a lot of customizable parts and accessories for the price I bought it. But it’s unignorable how loose many of the joints were too loose, and that the brown plastic parts were unusually fragile. Even after fixing/reinforcing the ankle and hip sockets it was a strain to get it stable enough to stand. Would buy if you’re equipped and willing to do some modifications to get it there.

This kit is based on the HG Leo. It contains all of the parts to make the standard leo in the purple color. However, the fit of the parts are slightly worse than the green leo.The new parts don't quite match the purple of the standard leo parts. The new heads have actual articulation now, but you will have to deal with some rather nasty eye stickers. The new parts come with a backpack with MANY pegs for customization, which is the strong suit of this kit. The leo hands are also fairly forgiving when it comes to weapons from other kits, since they appear to have empty spaces to fit the pegs found on the sides of certain weapons.This is decent for army building when you want a mass of kits with various equipment.
