Great sturdy chairs and easy to assemble
I have these Ashley dining chairs I bought from a furniture store and wanted additional chairs to have as extras. Glad I found them here on Amazon. I assembled both chairs (they come two in a box) in a reasonable amount of time. Love the sturdiness of them, however they were a bit off balance once assembled. Wouldn't be an issue if my dining set was on carpet or a throw rug, but mine are on a wood floor. I made adjustments where I could to try to balance them out but did not succeed. So I put some furniture protector pads on one of the legs on each chair and it balanced out perfect. Love the chairs and they are a perfect match to my existing set. The only thing I wish Ashley would do is include an option to have one of each color (green/tan) instead of two of the same color. Nonetheless this was a great deal on Amazon and the chairs are really nice.

great solid chairs
The chairs arrived promptly and were well packaged. They were easy to put together as well. I got 2 sage and 2 red. I liked the distressed markings so I don't have to be worrie aobut minor scratches that may occur over time. I have 3 boys so they are easy to wipe down and maintain. Great for the farmhouse look. Comfortable and solid. The colors were right on.

Great color, solidly built, fit well with other furnitures
A bit wobbly after assembly, but overall very solid. Note that the cushion is on top of a hole in the wood frame, but so far this does not seem to be a problem (i.e. one can sit comfortably). The color is great and would fit easily with other furnitures. These antique white chairs appear to have the best quality control of this dining set, as we had to return the table (with a big scratch on the table surface upon delivery) and the blue chairs (one hole was drilled too big in one of the legs so it could not be assembled). Better quality control for all items in this set will be much appreciated.

Nice looking in the picture. Lousy quality control during manufacture.
Yes, they look good in the picture. And they look OK (not as good as the picture) once you get them assembled. However, assembling them is an adventure. The first chair went together relatively smoothly. When we were finished, we noted that the seat is not exactly centered on the legs - perhaps 3/16 of an inch off - noticeable but not a deal breaker. The second chair, was the real fun piece of baloney. First, the seat was so misaligned that the leather was interfering with the legs. We noticed that when putting on the first front leg. So we were careful to use the leg to push the leather over while we tightened it. The we went to install the other front leg - which is supposed to be the last step. The first thing we encountered was that the leg holes WERE NOT DRILLED ALL THE WAY THROUGH. (See photo 1) Then we observed that the seat was so off center that, even if there were holes, the leg would have extended beyond the seat and looked totally like it was assembled by a clown. (See photos 2 & 3) Not having a valid clown license, and being up against a deadline to have our placed furnished before the weekend. I decided to disassemble the seat and drill the missing holes. Luckily I have the tools for that. Added about 45 minutes to the process. They would be better off shipping the seat disassembled and having the user put it together. Would go faster and look better. Now that the second chair is assembled, my beloved bride has noticed that the seat on the first chair is not straight. I guess I will have to fix that one when I have some free time.I have assembled a lot of furniture over the years and these definitely fall in the bottom 10% on quality. Be warned.Bottom Line: Nice looking if you don't mind a lot of extra work. One last thing: The ad copy says 18 inches wide. They are actually 19 inches wide.

I wasn't expecting these to be so sturdy since they come in several pieces and must be ...
Wow, nicer than I expected.I wasn't expecting these to be so sturdy since they come in several pieces and must be assembled, but I am pleasantly surprised! If you leave all bolts semi-loose while assembling, then have a helper sit in the chair (on a level surface) while you finally tighten the bolts, you should have no issues with crooked or wobbly chairs. Make sure you tighten the bolts with the chair sitting on a level surface, not rug or tile, as this makes all the difference in getting a properly squared chair in the end.I am also pleased that they wrapped the individual parts in foam bags to avoid getting millions of Styrofoam bits all over the house. These chairs look beautiful and the cushions are comfy. We will see how well these hold up over time, but so far so good.

Good value, paint chips easily
Bought 8 of these at about 1/2 the price of the Ashley retail store which was awesome. The only complaint I have is that the wood antique color is painted on and it has chipped on all our chairs where the backs have kissed the edge of our table. Other than that they were easy to assemble and look nice. It maybe tricky to touch up the chips.

If its really what you want
I was unable to but the chairs together. I had to return them. I will not be repurchasing. I also went to Ashley Furniture Store near my home to see the chairs before I ordered them. 1st- costs more in the store 2nd- they told me that anything online is a knock off because Ashley doesnt sell on the internet. I dont know how true that is.

Look great and solid construction. Simple to build.
Look great and solid construction. The upholstery is soft with a firm, but comfortable cushion. The chairs came in 4 pieces. The preconstructed parts felt solidly built. All I had to do was put 10 bolts in using the provided Allen wrench. The bolts came with a little bit of loctite, which is nice, but makes installing them a little difficult.Overall very nice.
