Installation was very simple on my 2005 Mazda 3. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exactly what is needed *by B***L on October 25, 2013* I had the metra single din for my 2004 Mazda 3. It fit great and matched the centre square of the dash (above the vents/hazard switch) and the climate section. This is the exact same with just a bigger hole. I switched to the double because i mounted my Nexus 7 in my car and an in car entertainment and nav. fits nicely in with no more gap than the stock had. I can't comment on the side plates that screw to a normal double din unit because i used a tablet, but the fascia goes in easily. I glued magnets to the screw holes on top and didn't put the lock clips on the bottom hooks.
