Great soft flask
Leakproof, easy to clean, and great quality. Fits in my running belt well. Love it.

Versatile gel delivery flask
This holds quite a bit of my energy gel. I store it in my back pocket of my jersey while cycling and its easy to grab and use while still pedaling. The flask wall is thick enough I don’t worry about puncturing it and it hasn’t leaked yet from the lid. My only problem with this is I still have yet to figure out how to easily open and squeeze out the gel. The lid has a dial that goes from open to close easy enough but the plunger at the tip is difficult to open. Overall, this is a great item for what i use it for.

Naked running belts + bottle = winning combo
Like other runners, I have countless water flasks, Camelbak, Hydrapak’s various models (including their easy fill version, hand-held version, etc). This new design is low/thin profile which is perfect for fitting two flasks into a Naked belt. That combo is great for trail running. And also good for road marathons - I’d rather skip the busy aid stations. The lock mechanism is a huge plus. When you put other bottles in a belt, pressure always squeezes the drinking valves causing annoying leaks. That doesn’t happen on this new design. The only compromise is that the bottle opening for refilling is considerable smaller. I have done a road race with these yet. So can’t speak to how fast/slow refilling would be from a typical water jug at a road race.

Leaks no matter what
Bought this and took it out for a test the next day. Constantly dripping from the cap. I tried to tighted, nope. I tried to take the cap off and realign, nope. Bite value is good, cap is garbage. 1st use and never worked properly.

Not as practical as I hoped.
I'm a big fan of HydraPak and have tons of their products, but this one was a bit of a miss for me. It works as advertised and the locking cap is nifty, but I haven't experienced any practical upside to this versus just using a regular 500ml flask. Basically anywhere I can stuff this, I can also stuff a regular 500ml flask, but a regular 500ml flask can fit in places where this can't. With 42mm locking caps available, I just don't see any reason to pick this as the tradeoff for the smaller opening just isn't worth it.

Very nice
Works perfectly for tucking into a waist pack. Locking feature is very nice. I wish the way the lock turns matches how it is twisted on the flask. Lock and tightening the cap are 2 different directions
