How big is the mommy turtle? Will it fit in a toddler bed?

The mommy turtle measures 12.6 inches (32cm) long—perfect for cuddling without taking over the bed. The 3 baby turtles are about 4 inches each, fitting easily in small hands or pockets. Many parents tell us the mommy doubles as a cozy nap pillow!

Are the baby turtles attached or can they be removed from the mommy shell?

The 3 baby turtles are fully removable! , the mommy turtle shell is designed with hidden invisible zipper, you can store all 3 baby turtles inside, easy to organize and carry for travel, road trips and sleepovers.

Is this safe for a 2-year-old? What about the eyes?

This set is designed for ages 3+. The mommy turtle and babies adopt secure lock-washer eyes and reinforced stitching that meet ASTM and CPSIA safety standards. There are no small loose parts. For children under 3, we recommend supervised play.

Can I wash this in the washing machine?

Yes! The mommy turtle shell is machine-washable on a gentle cycle with cold water. We recommend air-drying to maintain the shape. The smaller baby turtles can also be washed gently or spot-cleaned with a damp cloth for quick cleanups.

Is this actually educational or just a cute toy?

Both! The mommy-and-babies design naturally teaches nurturing skills, counting (1 mommy + 3 babies), and family concepts. Unzipping and tucking the babies inside builds fine motor skills.
