These chalk pastels are a pleasure to use. They blend well, there is a wide color selection, and the final results are quite satisfying for beginning sketching.

They were a lot smaller than I thought, but they are very pigmented and soft. Good set for a beginner or someone wanting to try soft pastels out.

I’ve been using these to make colored acrylic for nails. They give great color. Use gloves

They are good, but small. I will most likely have to repurchase before my project is finished. Otherwise, OK.

Overall the pastels and good and work as desired, however they are much smaller that I anticipated! They are only about an inch in length which was not what I was expecting. They are harder to hold onto and will not last as long as I had assumed.

These can't even really be considered for sidewalk chalk art. They are WAY too small. 1/4" x 1/4" x 1". They are more like scraps of chalk pastels. We have not tried them yet, but I am a normal size adult, and I can barely grasp them with my normal size fingers they are so small. I would imagine these will be useless, except for my children, and except for very tiny details, requiring very little chalk. I recommend you go a different direction if your chalk art is larger than 1 foot square.

I have been using this set for eight months. They are small, but the colours are bright and they are excellent for beginners. Non-expensive soft pastels can also make nice paintings. highly recommend!

Was more charlkier than expected creates lots of left over dust..
