Improve your quality of life with this fan
Loved that it’s an American company. It takes a few minutes to assemble but it isn’t hard to do even for a non-mechanical person like me. The fan is not noisy but provides some background noise to sleep to. It’s a soft breeze on low and pretty strong on high. The remote control allows you to adjust the speed and position of the fan. Honeywell did a great job on this item. Definitely worth the price. It helps me sleep and is a luxury item I will miss when traveling!

Great quiet and powerful fan (have had over one year)
Update: It has been over a year now (I bought a black one in March 2019) and the fan is still running perfect! The lows are still calm/quiet and high is what it should be. I really love that the low on this fan is fairly quiet (it has not gotten louder or started rattling on any speed over time like some fans I’ve had) and the air feels great. I can feel it on low across the room about 8 feet away (haven’t used it further away than that due to space). We don’t seem to use the remote much so I can’t give thoughts on it. At the time I need a new fan for my living room and have been debating getting a more expensive one like Rowenta but after seeing that the Honeywell one we have had for over a year is running great and easy to clean as well as cost much less than Rowenta, I’ll be getting another Honeywell double blade. I’d recommend it! So far so good. Seems pretty durable, noise levels are great, and most of all I love that I’ll be able to disassemble it to be cleaned unlike other fans and box fans. I know at some point this fan will have issues as they all do but it’s great for what I wanted! Oh and the remote is pretty neat. There’s multiple settings, you can have it oscillate, there are 3 speeds, there’s another feature that I believe changes the air flow (still figuring this one out it’s kind of strange to me, I usually just have it on the normal constant fan setting which is the button that turns it off as well when you press it a certain amount of times), and lastly this fan also has timer settings.

Best fan I ever bought!!
This Honeywell fan is well worth the price. The base is a heavy metal plate - it has a slight lean, but nothing like any of the other fans I've owned where they look like they're going to topple over. The motor housing unit is pretty heavy for a fan. When I turn it off after having it on for 8-12 plus hours, its cool to the touch. It has the 2 blade technology that allows more air to flow towards you. I love that feature! It's fairly quiet. The fan to the left sitting on the floor is a powerhouse commercial-like fan you'd find in a warehouse, it blows a TREMENDOUS amount of air. But it's also incredibly NOISY. I use that one to help keep me asleep (have sleep issues? go buy one from Walmart). I read a couple reviews where people said that cages that cover the blades is a little tricky. The little metal pieces that should slide down easily to hold the 2 cage pieces together - it is a bear to get them to close. I only had problems with 2 of them. But they aren't really that big of a deal, mine don't hang open. Haven't gotten batteries for the remote so can't give that a rating.

Very good fan that blows out a lot of air
I bought the Amazon Basics fan first, this Honeywell is almost the same! The problem with the Amazon fan was it came w/o the remote, worked great, but I paid extra for the remote, so we sent it back, problem was they were out of stock for a re-order! That's why we chose the Honeywell, same Double Blade fan set up, about the same price, and it came with a remote! The only differences between the 2 are,,,,,The Honeywell has clips that close the area where the blades are, and it better then the Amazon strap that goes around, which is very difficult to put on, and would be difficult to remove, and put back on to clean blades! The other difference between the 2 is the Honeywell is about 6 inches shorter then the Amazon Basics, we liked the taller one better, even though that could have been a foot taller! Both are very quiet running, not an irritating noise, both put out a lot of air because of the double blade set up! And Yes we'd buy the Honeywell again first, because of the easy clips that open up the cage to clean! The only reason we grade this at 4 stars and not 5,,,,it needs to be 12-18 inches taller, are you listening Honeywell!-)) Update,,After approx 6 months, this Honeywell runs great, when I turn it on low, my wife puts on her sweater!-)) Gonna buy another later this year when they go on sale! next update bought a second one and both run great!

GREAT, TOUGH FAN!!!
Bought this because of the reviews and did not want to spend a ton of $$$. This fan is GREAT!!!! it is quite, has lots of perks, timer, adjustable speed, neck, remote!!!! It is not to heavy but not to light, base is a GREAT size.. We use it to push the wood fire warmth though the house. What I did not expect was how tough it really is, We have a dog that has seizures and before I could get to the fan our 110 pound Rhodesian Ridge-back with the strength 10 when seizing hit it knocking it into the stove and on to the hard mantel, our focus was of course our dog not the fan. By the time we were able to gather ourselves the fan had been on the floor, the neck was in such a position I thought it was broke, it had been on and was no longer running. I said to myself, well the extra insurance wont replace THAT!!! My husband picked it up, unplugged it, got it looking normal, NOTHING was broke, he plugged it back in and off it went!!! WELL it happened AGAIN!!!! SAME!!! results and it has been 2 weeks and still running like a champ!!!! SO I would say we HIGHLY RECOMMEND this fan!!!!

Powerfully amazing!
So I normally don't write reviews but this fan is amazing. I've had it for three months now and it's been through a move and falling over a couple times (I'm clumsy lol) and it's still working like the day I put it together. The remote control is nice, it has the same button icons as the fan does except the power and fan speed buttons are separate on the remote. It was very easy to assemble. One thing I do really like about the assembly and disassembly is that the screw to hold the base to the pole has its own handle if you will so you don't have to worry about tools at all. I personally don't mind the noise level because I like white noise while I'm sleeping. I normally would never turn on a fan while trying to watch TV but the lowest level of this fan is soft enough that I don't mind having it on and turning the TV up only a couple notches. Now let's talk about the power on this bad boy. The highest setting on this fan will move your hair out of your face. I honestly could almost say this is close to a home industrial fan with a remote. If you like to keep It cold in your room while sleeping or have to have moving air, this fan is for you. Before this fan I had two box fans in my room and I would still wake up sweating but with this fan I had no issues at all it kept me cool all night and some nights I would wake up and have to turn down the fan. It does come with a oscillating feature that does have a decent range. It comes with a timer and the remote comes with the button to change that as well. The last thing is it does have a breeze setting. I had no clue and I may not have payed attention or something of that nature but I thought it was pretty cool. The button for it is just three dots which I was very confused by at first because I didn't know what it was but upon further investigation it was the breeze setting which also has three modes you can change and you can simultaneously change with the fan speeds as well. Over all I do love this fan it has has one tiny hiccup which is the pole at the tallest hight will slide down over time and it's not very tall at only 4ish feet at the tallest hight but honestly all of that is over looked with how well it works and how sleek the design is.

very good, a few reservations
On the whole I am very pleased with this fan. There is another product, the "Amazon Basics" fan, which is quite similar and it is slightly cheaper. However, this fan is noticeably more powerful. At high speed, the fan has strong airflow. It is quiet at low speed. The remote is sensible, the variance of speeds is broad, and the oscillation covers a wide angle. The "intermittent" speed function is of no interest to me, but it is a unique feature that may be appreciated by some consumers. The fan is stable at high speed, because the base has a nice weight to it. It also has an extra propeller that attaches to the main blade. Perhaps this adds to its effectiveness. And finally, the fan has a metal grille, which I would think would hold up better than plastic, if the fan were to be knocked over. Now for the criticisms: The fan is not tall enough for me. I originally hoped to use it while on my treadmill, but even with the fan tilted, the air stream is not quite high enough. Also, when I pick up and move the fan, it tends to swivel on its axis, so that the motor and pedestal no longer line up. I have line it up again in order to use the tilt feature. It makes the unit feel a bit flimsy. Assembly is a bit tricky. The metal clips that hold the grille in place required pressure from a pliers in order to fully attach. No biggie. [Now a note about the Amazon Basics fan: it is remarkably similar to this model. The features are largely identical but the power is somewhat less (I'd say 15%). The "intermittent" feature was lacking, and the base is lighter than that of the Honeywell. Also, the grille is plastic, not metal. However, the Amazon fan is taller than the Honeywell. I own both, and I have reviewed the Amazon Basics pedestal fan as well.]
