Well made. Gets the job done
Bought this to decrease the load between my winch and plow on an atv. Worked like a charm. Seems well made.

Heavy duty, works perfect
I installed this after the fairlead on my UTC to help lift my snow plow, works perfect and is heavy duty so I don't have to worry about the plow weight breaking it. Good price too.

Cable can't slip off wheel groove, and end up binding on the wheel axle
Bought this to replace the flawed hook and pulley wheel on a 2500 pound come-along. The original wheel was too narrow, allowing the cable to slip off the cable groove, and then slide between the wheel and the side plate, unavoidably ending up binding on the wheel axle. The wheel on this replacement hook and hoist is wider, filling the space between the side plates, thus leaving no room for the cable to slip off the groove in the pulley wheel, and thus no way to bind on the axle.

This was a good purchase for my current project of modifying a utility trailer for some specific duties. I replaced the hex nuts on this unit with wing nuts to make releasing and replacing the cable that much easier in the field.

Hook for picking up small Items with a hoist
What I dislike about this Product was it was not as strong as it said it was, and when use it, it bent the hook as you can tell no one was hurt, but it could’ve been a bad accident will not order this product ever again
