For the people saying they aren't polarized and then turning around and saying that they wore them over their prescription lenses... these glasses are not meant to be worn over top of prescription glasses. Amazon does have many pairs of amber polarized glasses that are meant to be worn over top of prescription lenses, but this product is not one of them. The fact that people are wearing them over prescription lenses when the manufacturer (and the design) is clear that isn't the proper use is probably why those folks are having bad experiences with this product--not using it as intended and according to the specifications. Those who do use them according to the specifications should have a good experience. They dramatically cut down glare and, for those who've recently had eye surgery, also reduce blue light and flicker annoyance from electronics (polarized amber lenses are often recommended for those of us with photo sensitivity and these do a remarkably good job). They're so good I've ordered a second pair to keep in the car for night driving so I don't have to carry this pair back and forth. The hard case, pouch, and cleaning cloth are a great bonus that just improves the value.

I drive to work every night six days a week. I was struggling to keep my eyes on the road when people don’t dim their headlights at night and mostly high beam with newer vehicles. They don’t respect other drivers who may find difficult to see the road at night. I am sensitive to headlight and try to look down towards other side of the road to avoid them. I’ve tried quite a few night driving glasses over the years. Some were expensive and others were cheaper. My experiences with them were mix and did not help reducing headlight beam at night or the glare surrounding it. I was accidentally stumble on to these glasses when I was searching nighttime driving glasses from another seller. Bought them with skepticism expecting the same outcome. I was wrong and these glasses are beyond my wildest dream. They do dim headlight beam and reduce glare as well. This night driving glass come with yellow light polarized lenses just enough to reduce glare at night, very stylish and lightweight frame. I love them wearing almost every time I go out and use them along with my daytime sunglasses. I’d recommend to anyone who is looking for very good night driving glasses with stylish, high end looking frame. I read some of the negative reviews here and they were not correct and misleading.

I like how bright things are during cloudy and even partly cloudy days. Works good at night but does not really reduce glare just like other reviews stated. Price is great, comes with a soft cleaning cloth, soft case and a zipped hard case. They did not skimp on the accessories.

It is lightly polarized. It helps a bit at night, but don't expect a miracle.

These are without doubt a great value for the utility they are offering me!! Sometimes, I drive long distances in the night and they are on highways where the headlights give the glare. These night driving glasses are giving me the needed "cool" visibility during my drive. These also feel comfortable - no pinching that you can sometimes get with inexpensive glasses. They feel so comfortable that I am wearing them during my evening walks during dusk when there is some glare. Sunglasses during this time of the day tend to give me a darker vision and these glasses retain the brightness while cutting out the glare. I can see myself using them often enough.I recommend these to others for night driving or for UV protection with glare reduction.

These come with a really nice hard case that has a clip on the end, but it’s too big for my purse so I’m glad they also come with a soft cloth drawstring case. They also come with a lens wipe cloth. They’re very lightweight. I have a rather large head and have a hard time wearing glasses at all, but these fit my head comfortably. I drove with them tonight and although I do t know the difference of daytime or nighttime polarization, I feel they’re comparable to the daytime ones I wear on my boat, so I can see the rocks much easier under the water. I did not have a glare from the oncoming cars on the two way road, which was the main reason I wanted them because my prescription might driving lenses cause a lot of glare. These are pretty good.

I really had high hopes for these based on other reviews. Cannot understand how they wrote such glowing comments. These don't decrease glare, they just make it yellow instead of white. The lenses actually obscure sight because they are somewhat distorted. I tried them on a very clear but dark night and kept having to take them off because I knew the road and I knew I wasn't clearly seeing it as before. Oh well. Lesson learned.

I received these glasses yesterday, and I put them to the test on my 1 hour commute to work before sunrise this morning. I have to say I'm very surprised how it's worked out. Using this product has not limited my visibility at all in the dark and since it's lightweight and comfortable to wear, I don't feel it at all. I have moved to an area where I drive on many 2-lane roads and 1 lane highways without center dividers, so the oncoming traffic with bright headlights in my face has become very annoying and especially from most of the new vehicles equipped with LED headlamps. Pickup trucks being the worse as they are at eye level. These glasses really have made the difference as I no longer have to raise my left hand to block the light, and I feel as if I can drive much safer now. I just hope I don't lose or break them.
