## Description

Rice Sushi

Review: Best rice ever ! - I’ve always loved rice. But when I’d cook it at home the old fashion way boiled etc, it just never came out the same as when I got it at a Japanese steak house where the chief stood in the middle of the grill and I didn’t know what it was called then but it was Waygu a5. This was in the ear;y 70s. It’s one of the few meals that I never forgot the taste and craved it for decades. The chief cut up a steak which I think I got a third of it. It was served with egg yoke cooked perfectly creamy, and there was some fried rice with scrambled egg and I don’t remember what else, plus I had just a portion of this white rice I’d never seen before, short and fat full of flavor, and just the right stickeyness . I have not tasted it again till I took a chance on this rice. Now to be honest I can’t tell you if it’s better than any other sushi rice desertcart has for sake, but it’s 100 times better than any rice purchased at the piggly wiggly. Also, I purchased a rice cooker, on desertcart they’re all kinds of prices, I’m 66 years old and living on a fixed income, certainly not what I planned but I gotta make do with what’s left of my rice. I probably couldent afford this every night but wait, to ne honest, I cook one cup at a time, and that’s good for e meals so really it’s not too bad. If I just ate this rice I’d get fatter than I’d like. Since I retired, and stopped running I went from a 43 waste to a 44” waste, trust me I’ve always been fit and healthy but when I could no longer run because of arthritis in my joints, well I gained at least 100 pounds. I didn’t just start eating more rather my matablism just shut down. I got into sous vide trying to lose weight with no carbs which disqualifies rice except my wife said if you will keep it under w0 grams I’d lose weight. Same thing happened to her, I met her at a health club she owned. She literally taught 4 to 6 step arobics classes every day plus she would do toning with weights. After we had our baby girl we were both 40 it started getting harder to keep weight off. Between 50 and 60 I gained about 15 pounds, my jeans were a bit tighter. After 60, my arthritis got so bad there were days I couldent move. That’s when I went from 180 pounds to 280 pounds. Disgusting. I’ve lost 17 pounds in a month. Since then I am following my rule no more than 20 grams of carbs. I know I deserted from my story. The no carb diet is harsh. I love steak but I need starch with it, or yuck, now I eat 2 tablespoons of this rice per meal as a bread replacement. I could probably lose weight much faster but the pure proline has made me wanna throw up. Bottom line, this is great rice, I bought a rice cooker on a,axon for 19.95 and it’s so easy to cook rice with this machine it’s well worth 20 bucks
Review: Great stuff! - Ideal for a rice cooker. Makes tasty, perfect consistency sticky rice. Highly recommended.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Received the product but a sticker is over the instructions. Can someone please give me directions for this? The plan is to make Hollywood rolls!**
A: I'm not sure there are instructions on the container. I just follow the directions on the rice cooker that I use and put the settings on "Shushi". If you don't have a rice cooker just go to the "Food "channel" site and get there generic recipe.

**Q: Hi - Are you selling 4 32 oz containers for $20.93? The description indicates 2 lbs.**
A: One container is 2 pounds. This is for purchasing and shipping for one container.

**Q: Does this product really contain a plastic filler? I read one of the reviews and it stated that this product contains a plastic filler.**
A: No way, I love rice and I discovered this rice about 6 months ago. I also purchased an inexpensive auto rice cooker. Perfect every time but there is no plastic, or cardboard ir any fillers in this rice, it’s 100 percent rice and it’s excellent. A bit on the pricy side but you get what you pay for. Try it. I do recommend an auto rice cooker.
