TRQ is vastly superior to the cheap stuff.
Excellent product. This was my THIRD pair of struts in a short time- the first two companies were lousy (second set made the car feel unsafe) and the one company cannot even be reached as their only phone number isn't even valid. Luckily, Amazon returned and refunded me for both of those. The TRQ struts separate shipping boxes were correct- the other companies just threw their struts together in one box to bang around against each other and tear through the boxes. The TRQ struts fit properly, the ride and handling characteristics are great- feels like a new car and I have peace of mind! Good price for a far better product. Did they cost a little more than the junk? Yes, but it is FAR worth the little extra money and not having to tear them back out of the car.

Affordable Suspension Upgrade with Mixed Results
I recently installed the TRQ Front Strut & Coil Spring Assembly Set on my vehicle, and the experience has been a mix of positives and challenges. Pros: Pre-Assembled Convenience: The struts arrived fully assembled, making the installation process straightforward and saving me time. Cost-Effective: Compared to OEM parts, this set offered a more budget-friendly option without compromising on essential features. Cons: Ride Quality Concerns: After installation, I noticed a decrease in ride comfort. The vehicle feels stiffer, and there's increased road noise, which wasn't present with the original struts. Durability Issues: Within a short period, I began to hear squeaking noises from the struts, indicating potential wear or lubrication issues. Fitment Challenges: While the struts fit my vehicle model, I had to make minor adjustments during installation to ensure proper alignment. Conclusion: The TRQ Front Strut & Coil Spring Assembly Set offers an affordable alternative to OEM parts. While it provides convenience and initial cost savings, the long-term ride quality and durability may not match that of higher-end brands. If you're on a tight budget and need a quick replacement, this set could be a viable option, but be prepared for potential compromises in comfort and longevity.

DO NOT PURCHASE THESE PARTS!!!!
Wish I could give negative stars for this product, but unfortunately that is not possible. I received and installed the front struts with no issue, which is why I purchased the rear struts. Let’s start with the good... 1. Product arrived quickly. 2. Struts seem to be constructed well. Now for the bad... 1. The strut packaging is inferior as top strut mounting bolt was poking through the end of the box. 2. When trying to install the strut, the OE has a welded nut on the lower strut mount, this product does not!!! There is no nut included and this makes it impossible to install on the vehicle. 3. I called the helpline at A1Auto and spoke to someone completely unfamiliar with the product and was put on hold for a few minutes until they could talk to a tech. The original person returned to inform me that their parts are not made like the OE parts and that the part will fit if I go to autoparts stores to find a nut that will work. Mind you, my car that I would go to an autoparts store with is now disabled and in pieces. They claim that these parts are 100% guaranteed to fit and thus is severely lacking if a special part (unknown to them) is needed. They were kind enough to offer for me to send the part back, but again, I can’t leave my car disabled. I asked what size the nut I should go to an autoparts store to find and they said “whatever size the original is...”. Umm, thanks for nothing there genius!!! If I knew what size the magical nut that should either be included or welded on as OE, then I wouldn’t have to ask.

Good Product
These work great and made an immediate difference. They were fairly easy to install, the directions were not the best and I would make sure to check what side each is for as it does make a difference. The ride fells much better

2016 Kia Forte DIY Replacement Quick Struts
If you want to skip to the summary at the end of this review, that's fine. I'm going to review these as someone with 0 car knowledge, that used Reddit and Youtube to buy these quick struts and install them. My struts were shot. Every bump I hit I could feel hitting my frame. all of my tires were cupping and becoming bumpy. It felt super sketchy. So much tire noise. I didn't have enough money to go to a mechanic to get them replaced. I don't know anything about "compressing" the coil or spring or whatever in a strut, so I couldn't buy a better quality one that I would have to assemble myself...so quick struts already assembled was my only option. Installation with 0 car knowledge took me a 2-3 hours. Jack up the car with a floor jack, put on jack stands, take the wheels off. And undo 4 bolts? Take out the strut carefully. Tight fit. Really annoying, but doable. Important and will save you some hassle: if you don't know anything about cars, the tie rod that you have to put into the struts can be a bit of a pain to get in the hole. What I didn't know was that the suspension is connected on both sides, so it's pretty much impossible to do without jacking up both sides. Jack up one side, put a jack stand. Take the floor jack to the other front side, jack it up, put another jack stand. Tie Rods are still a pain to get aligned in the struts, but either way, save yourself some time and hassle...you have to have both sides jacked up at the same time or the tie rod will be too high to reach the hole in the struts. Also important for 2016 Kia Fortes: To get the struts out, and install the new ones, you have to remove the windshield wipers, and the windshield wiper tray thing. Not difficult at all. Windshield wipers have two plastic circles, you pop out, and then undo the bolts. The tray has 4 plastic push in little things. You push in the tiny circle in the middle of them, and then pop them out. Then you take the rubber cap off of the top of the struts. Don't fully undo the nuts on those, or else the strut will drop on the axle. Let taking those off be the last thing you do. After you get it set, put the 4 bolts or whatever back on. Put your tires back on, and you're in business. Review of these struts: Going from what felt like 0 strut power to these, feels so incredibly nice. I forgot what suspension felt like. Cut down on so much car noise. I can actually feel them working. Downside: They do make a bit of a squeaky sound when you hit a bump or pothole. I can live with the sometimes squeaky sound, knowing that they are functional, working, easy to install, and cheap on my wallet. I'm a week in and no complaints, everything feels safe. I got an alignment and they inspected my car and didn't say anything negative about my shock installation. After installation, go get a wheel alignment from a shop for $100 or so. Between the shocks, struts, tires, and alignment I paid $800 in total. The shop quoted me at $2,300 for everything. Would do again myself. Would buy again.

Perfect fit for my XC70
I really appreciate the repair videos from 1A Auto, and followed through to purchase these TRQ front struts for my 2007 Volvo XC70. They fit perfectly and ride nice and smooth. It's too early to tell how long they will last, but given the age of my car I expect these are the last struts I will ever need.
