I don’t understand some of the negative reviews. This little cushion fits me perfectly and I have it everywhere. It’s a dark gray so a feel comfortable taking it out of the house for plane, car trips, and visits to restaurants. It doesn’t show dirt and the cover is easily cleaned.It’s extremely comfortable and protects my coccyx from pain. I have an arthritic back and poly peripheral neuropathy. I’m basically a mess when it comes to sitting, walking, or standing too long. This cushion is a savior for attending concerts and movies.This cushion lasts forever. I have three because I don’t like to carry it from room to room and I want to have a special one to take outside the house to events. I also have three made by the same manufacturer, but in another size for my couches or chairs.No one can give me a new back, but the Tush Cush gives me back the joy of living.

This item is worthless to me and I am unable to return it. It is too wide for the standard car seat causing the sides to buckle up thereby not giving the proper support. They should not call this version a "car" Cush. I would like to exchange for a narrower one but according to their policy I am unable to return it. I was unaware of this at the time. I've been experiencing serious pain at the end of my spine during long car rides. I confess when I bought this cushion I did not have high expectations. I am pleased to report that I recently returned from a 1,600 mile road trip and thanks to this car cushion, I had ZERO pain! It's firm but not too hard and fits perfectly on the seat of my Kia Soul. The small cut-out design works perfectly for eliminating any pressure on my coccyx. I am so happy to enjoy pain free driving once again! And even though I think Tush Cush is a silly name, I am able to remember it when I recommend it to others.

The cushion was only used two times so far, and was purchased to add height for an elerly person getting in out of a car with bucket seats, and it has worked out well for that purpose. The foam in this cushion is a little hard and not as comfortable as I thought it would be. However, after more use it may start to soften up some. The price is too high for a foam cushion of this type.

Very comfortable pillow, I recommend it to anyone who has back pain. I use it not only in the car, but also take it with me on planes when traveling.

Had one of these on a long flight which saved me from severe pain from damaged coccyx. I used it for months and it stood up to almost constant use. It held its shape and it’s easily cleaned. Would definitely recommend.

Lately my butt does not like it when my knees are higher than my hips. I'm not sure why; it just cropped up. My PT suggested raising my seat, but I'm a tall guy and the seat is only able to adjust so high. This wedge lets me even out my seating position. I tried Tush Cush's regular wedge, but it's so wide that the edges of the bucket seat caused the cushion to dip down in the middle, and the edges of the cushion got wedged inward, making the 'bucket' too narrow for my backside. This one fits between the edges of the seat perfectly. Ideally, it would be a bit longer from front to back, and perhaps just a little less firm, but it helps immensely. Does seem very expensive for a piece of foam with a fabric cover, but it's the only thing I've found that helps.

This item is very narrow and uncomfortable. Seller not accepting returns. Tough time to be wasting money.
