A must for trainee teachers
If you're doing your PGCE and you're interested in developing your practice, buy this. It was great for giving me insight to my dissertations.

Informative
I have the 3rd Edition and find the book very easy to read, informative and packed with many useful links and ideas. The only negatives are that it is very much grounded in the primary school arena and I feel that some more explicit case studies would highlight the reflective process better.

Useful Book
I had to buy this book as it was a core text for an essay, but it is easy to find information about lots of different things and will help any teacher to reflect on their practice.

Helpful
This book proved invaluable during my PGCE and during my NQT year and beyond. Originally advised to buy this book by my University lecturers, it proved useful in most of my assignments and gave me a firm grounding in the theory behind teaching.
