Get this instead of the JSAUX PC0104
This is a well-made case that gets a lot right, especially if you want protection and a front cover that can stay on most of the time. One of the best features is that the power button is covered when the front plate is attached, which helps prevent the system from accidentally turning on in a bag. The vents also stay open, so the case can remain on while docked with an unofficial dock that uses a standard USB-C cable. That makes it easy to keep the screen protected from dust while the system is sitting at home connected to a TV. Since a controller can wake the system from sleep and put it back to sleep, the front cover can stay on most of the time in that setup. The built-in stand functionality is also very useful. With the front plate on, the system can stand upright at 90 degrees. With the front plate off, it stands at about 70 degrees. Because of that, there is no real need for a separate kickstand. The biggest limitation is compatibility with the official Steam Deck Dock. This case does not let the system connect properly into the official dock while the faceplate is on, because the dockโs 90 degree USB-C connector will not fit. With the faceplate removed, the case itself does have a cutout that allows the official dock cable to connect, and the system can stand upright in front of the dock while plugged in. So it can still work with the official dock, just not in the normal seated way with the faceplate attached. The face plate is slightly transparent, which means you can tell if the screen has turned on when you did not mean for it to. My main complaint is the look of the front plate. I would have preferred a more simple design. Compared with the JSAUX PC0104, I would say the JSAUX materials feel a little nicer, but only slightly. However that case has a serious flaw! It leaves the power button exposed while the front plate is on AND COVERS THE AIR VENTS! This case is so much better and is more practical for the way I use the system. Overall I think it is the better choice as long as you understand the limitation with the official dock.

Amazing case for the price.
Amazing case. Fits the deck perfectly. Adds a nice grippy feel and the angle it stands on is convenient for charging or tabletop play. The front screen cover slips on easy and offers amazing protection. Paired with the joystick grips and the back buttons and itโs a perfect option for lightweight protection of the steam deck. Will continue to purchase cases made by this company. 10/10 quality and price.

Great value. Compact and durable at the same time, while enhancing grip for use. 100% recommend over dbrand killswitch or other cases.

Exceptional Protective Travel Case
This is my ideal travel case. Protection for both the front and the back. It easily attaches on and off and keeps the console minimal from bulkiness inside a backpack or other travel bag. Definitely recommend. Material is durable and the price is very affordable. Also works in tandem with their thumb grips, so best of both worlds. Skull & Co knows how to cater to their consumers.

Best bang for buck protection kit
For some reason this bundle was cheaper than buying the silicone case alone (at the time) from Skull & Co, so I took advantage of the bundle and never looked back, I tested out the Spigen and JSAUX cae prior and ended up returning cause they were not adequate to my needs, I've eyed this one before and it called to me once more. It may not fit in the steam dock, but it sits right in front of it perfectly and takes up less horizontal height. The travel cover is opaque so I can see if I leave my screen on and it just looks amazing, gives me so much ease of mind to put it in my backpack with the trigger guards as well. You won't regret it, best purchase I've made for this steam deck

Amazing protection
Perfect to protect my steam deck bought the set as they no longer or at least I couldn't find just the outer shell as I have the case in purple already. This is great to throw in my bag and protect my steamdeck and keep the face and buttons protected. Works with the skull & co thumb stick grips which I also got and they are on the steam deck overall great company and great products.

Fantastic Case
I was looking for a better option for storing my deck and after a bit of use, I've found this to be the best compared to the other 2 cases I've used (Ali 10$ case, jsaux modcase). The case lacks a kickstand and doesn't cover the rear part of the triggers, but I think it's a good tradeoff. The lack of a kickstand cuts down on weight and while it may not stand up on uneven surfaces like carpet, the fixed angle is great for using it on a table with an external controller or doing work with a keyboard. As for the front part of the case not blocking the triggers, it makes it so much easier compared to other options to take off and put on the front cover. The gripcase is stellar even without the front cover, and you can even use it with the stock carrying case. Even without having any covering around or near the triggers, it still feels surprisingly sturdy. Personally I prefer the deck with the case as it makes it far less awkward to hold and has an added texture for grip. I think the raised volume buttons are easier to access too. The included front cover I think is superior though when the device is carried in a bag - it allows you to charge and doesn't block the top vents either while in standby. Overall, it's a fantastic case and the community is lucky to have a well thought out, high quality case at a good price.

Perfect
Ademรกs, es ligera y no aรฑade mucho peso

4 Month Review - Great Hardshell Case for the Steam Deck User on the Go
I've used this case with my Steam Deck for the past 4 months and overall, I like this case and I would recommend it for someone who travels and wants to minimize bulk in their bag. This hardshell front cover case for the Steam Deck by Skull & Co is a good quality case. It's a two piece set, with the 1st piece, being a hardshell front cover that goes over the front of the steam deck, and the 2nd piece, is a soft but firm grip case for the body of the steam deck. The hardshell provides protection for the screen and sticks of the steam deck and the grip provide a layer of protection from scraps and and excels more as a good grip. I like this case because it excels at minimizing bulk while providing very decent protection of your steam deck. It doesn't provide the full protection like the OEM travel case which helps protect against crushing/pressure forces on your steam deck. For me having, protecting the screen and sticks and minimizing bulk is a good trade off vs total protection and high bulkiness. I've used over 4 months, on planes, and trains, and my steam deck still looks great. I also don't throw my bag around either. With that said, I think this case for the steam deck is worth your consideration.

Easily the best grip/travel cover for the deck
I wasn't sure how I'd feel about this case at first, I was using the killswitch previously but I've definitely fallen in love with it. It's lightweight, clean looking, feels good in the hand. The case is so easy to put on but also feels snug and well designed. I appreciate the easy accessibility to the deck for mods or cleaning by how easy it comes off, unlike the killswitch/etc that are really difficult to take off. The built in stand to it I thought I wouldnt utilize but I actually use it all of the time. The travel cover is also great, it snaps on super easy and snug without any issue, there's ample room for my joysticks and their grips. If I had to give any criticism it's just that the travel cover doesn't give full protection for the triggers which is really non-problematic, I felt like the Dbrand travel cover was a little too snug for my triggers and pressed on the backs of them when taking it off.

Happy I went with this one.
Excellent case. I wasn't sure if I should have got this, the dbrand case or spigen. I ended up with this case because of the extra texture to help hold it. The hard cover is awesome, don't have to worry about my cats walking on it and can charge the steam deck with the cover on. For the price you cant go wrong. Get this instead of dbrand and use the extra money for thumb grips or games. Solid purchase. It does add a bit of extra bulk but it's not too bad. The grip case (without cover) also fits in the original steam deck case (512gb oled) without issues. It's a bit tight but the thumb sticks are not pressed down.

Great option for a lower profile protection for the Steam Deck
Works amazing for me as a case. I really like the the hardshell cover. The triggers are still a bit exposed but they cover the top well enough. It still fits in my 1TB Steam Deck case after removing the liner. The front cover is great, I feel pretty happy with throwing it in my bag if needed. It took a bit of practice for me to get used to removing it without popping the lid off too hard.
