Great value for money for Thunderbolt 5 dock
I have used many Thunderbolt 3/4 docking stations in the past, it was time to upgrade to Thunderbolt 5. In the past I have used:Caldigit TS3 - Great dock but dropped network when connecting a 2.5GBE to USB A adapter (known issue, search Reddit), and limited only 1x 10GBPS port.Caldigit TS4+ - Great dock, with the best port selection, but that TB4 dock cost more than this TB5 iVanky Fusion Dock Pro 3Startech TB3DK2DHV - Defective Ethernet Port (only speeds of 10/100mbps), and bad port selectionStartech TB3DOCK2DPPD - Horrible coil whine noise when laptop is plugged inStartech TB3CDK2DH - Great dock, no issues, just limited port selectionDevices Tested:-Works with Gaming Desktop (USB4 v1, 40gbps) desktop to output 2 displays.-Works with 2021 Macbook Pro w/ M1 Pro TB4 port - (USB4 Mode per MacOS)-Works with 2024 Mac Mini M4 Base model (USB4 Mode per MacOS)Works as expected.-Front facing TB5 Upstream port was important to make it easy to switch between computers (3x separate Thunderbolt cables)-1x USB Logitech C920 Webcam for video calls-1x 2K @ 165Hz Monitor connected via HDMI to USB C to rear TB port-1x 1080p @ 60hz Monitor connected via USB C to rear TB port - This monitor has a USB hub built in, monitor works great, powers all accessories including 2x dongles for Logitech Mouse + KeyboardPros:No coil whine - I've seen other users complain about the noise on this dock, I am very sensitive to high pitched noises like coil whine, and I am unable to hear any coming from this dock even in a silent room.* Note my laptop can only charge a max of ~90W, not sure if there will be coil whine if you have a laptop that can charge at the full 140W this dock can output - Just something to be aware of.-2.5gbe works as expected on both Mac + Windows-Front TB5 downstream port does up to 60w, can charge two Macbook Pros at the same time, however the Power supply brick is only 180w, so wont be at full speed.-Front USB A port does 15w of power, which is fast enough for most phones.Cons:Lots of empty space on the back, could have easily fit a 10gbps USB C + another USB A Port.Huge power brick 180w, but does not have enough power to charge both front TB port devices at full advertised speeds.

Ivanky just keeps getting better
It is hard to think of a brand I never heard of some 3-4 years ago has given me 2 of the best docking stations I have ever owned. This replaced a Surface Pro Dock 2, which is a pretty good product, and this Ivanky laid waste to it.The power charging is really good, and what can I say about this company, their stuff just works and works well. I plugged everything in, powered it on, and the performance definitely exceeded my expectations. This actually brought new life to my MacBook Pro Max M1 and can't wait to see what the M4 Pro Max does with this, which I will be receiving soon. You will not be disappointed in this docking station. The sound is also very clean, I use a big speaker connected to AUX out. Many other docking stations will send feedback on the same configuration. If you have a lot of devices like I do, you may be put off by what seems like limited ports. How I mitigate that is I do have 2 monitors who have USB ports, and use those as hubs to the docking station. One huge improvement on this docking station is that unlike past ones I've owned from Ivanky, this only requires a single cable connection, not 2. So one Thunderbolt port is all you need to connect this, whereas it took 2 ports.Only bad thing is it seems Ivanky has always measured out my office when it makes products and makes sure to give me a cable from the docking station to the laptop that is always a couple inches short. :). Would be nice to include an extension if needed. This is a very good docking station and this is a name I have come to trust. My last one had an issue, and they were more than happy to help and replace it. It's not the cheapest one out there, but you get what you pay for. In Ivanky's case, you get more than you pay for.

Very Happy, Great Dock
I was looking for a thunderbolt 5 dock that would support my new Mac Mini and so far I have been very happy with this dock from Ivanky. I am able to run two 32 inch Dell 2k monitors at 165hz and with the last Thunderbolt 5 port I am able to connect a Thunderbolt 5 NVME SSD and get really fast transfer speeds all with only 1 cord connected to my Mac Mini. No regrets with this purchase. I think it looks sleeker than other options that were available and my only complaint is the upstream connection is on the front instead of being on the side or back, but this isn't as annoying as I originally thought it might be.The speed test photo is from the Thunderbolt 5 SSD and the speed test setup is:M4 Pro Mac Mini >> Apple Thunderbolt 5 cord >> Ivanky Thunderbolt 5 Dock >> 2 of the Thunderbolt 5 ports are connected to 32 inch monitors via USBC to DisplayPort and the other Thunderbolt 5 port is connected to an Acasis TB501Pro with a WD Black SN850X 8TB drive in it.When the drive was connected to the dock (dock also connected to monitors) write/read was about 3700/5600When the drive was connected directly to the Mac Mini write/read was up to 6000/5600I also have a TB4 ssd with another WD Black SN850X 4TB in it and the speeds were write/read 2500/2850 directly connected to the Mac and I was getting those same speeds when connected to the dock. So overall great performance I think.
