not as strong flavored as I was hoping for

In one word...yummy!

I have had good luck with this taffy in the past and got a batch that was soft enough to eat right out of the bag. I thought it would always be soft enough to eat that way. It needs some warming first and even then I would not call it " Ideal ". Tt does not live up to the "fresh" adjective , which has been applied to it by the manufacturer and some reviewers. For that to be true, it would have to be chewable and ready to eat without dental danger, immediately upon receipt of the product. With a little technology (microwave), this is still possible but not, without.

This stuff is great ! The best flavors in my opinion are Vanilla, and Creamy Caramel.

The ingredients list has artificial as well as natural flavor. So, maybe that’s why it tastes more bitter than like peppermint. Other than that the candy is alright although I would prefer that it didn’t contain lecithin. The other ingredients listed are good.

I ended up throwing like half of this bag away because it really wasn’t that good but I don’t know what someone expects getting saltwater taffy off of Amazon lol

For the enjoyment of my family. That bag of S’Mores was a disaster, everything else. Thanks 🤗
