Much lighter shoe . Very comfortable

This is my first experience with a "super shoe". Size fit a bit tight for me, I went up half a size from my typical Asics from 10-1/2 to 11. It's extremely light and the mesh upper is very comfortable - the shoe required no break in period for me. I took it on a test training run - one of my typical 1.5 mile loops. I would typically do the 1.5 mile loop at a very comfortable pace in about 12:30 or so... The first time I took them out and looked down at my watch, 10:48. The effort felt similar to running the 12:30 in my Asics Kayano trainers. Tried them on a 5-1/2 mile run and took 3 minutes off of my typical time exerting similar effort. I can't wait to race in them! No comment on durability yet, but the comfort and speed are definitely there. One other point to mention - it's clear these are designed to be road racing shoes - I wouldn't feel comfortable with the tight twists and turns on a cross country trail as there is a noticeable lack of lateral support. However for hard surfaces like roads or tracks, I've never had a better shoe.

Best investment so far after looking high & low with a lot of places sold out. Super comfortable and light weight. Best of all I really like super striking colours.

These shoes are awesome. They fit like a glove. They’re feather light! They cut about a full minute off of my 5k time! Sick Fast!!! I’m #87 in the pic. I’m 55 years old and do not have prototypical runners body and I ran a 5k in 20:45 with these on a hilly course!

If you're deciding between the Metaspeed Edge and Metaspeed Sky, I think this is the better shoe. I didn't notice much of a difference in terms of energy return from the carbon plate and the Metaspeed Edge has more cushioning when you land, resulting in less fatigue on my feet. This shoe performed solid during a recent Marathon in August. I felt really fast and it was comfortable for the most part. They do seem to wear out quickly. Seems like they'll be a 4-5 Marathon race shoe if I am lucky. I only recommend this shoe for long distance events, half to full marathon, and if you're aiming to use this for a 10k or 5k, you're better off with something like the Magic Speed 4.

Shoes that are clearly used, soles covered in dirt and scuffs. Disappointing.
