Great budget gaming option, or as a secondary monitor to compliement a gaming setup.
I’m not much of a gamer, still I wanted to slightly upgrade my home-office setup. I don’t need a lot of performance, but I did want something better than 60Hz. I prefer 4k, but I simply don’t have the room for monitors larger than 27” (If I want to keep my 3-monitor setup), and thus a FHD 1080p display works just fine. There seems to be several configurations of this specific monitor type and model. The one I have here (that I’m writing this review on) is the ArcticPro 27”, with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a FHD 1080p display with HDMI and VGA ports.First thing’s first: This would be considered a low-end gaming monitor. At 120Hz, it’s better than your average office monitor, and it should be able to handle most games on low-to-medium settings. It can probably do fine on some older games at higher settings, but since it’s limited to HDMI, so too is its capabilities. For my purposes, this is fine and an improvement on the 24” 60Hz monitor it has replaced. Setup was quick and painless, and it worked just fine straight out of the box. I use both the HDMI (for my home computer) and VGA (for my work computer docking station) ports, and the monitor defaults to the one that’s currently receiving a signal. The performance on my low-end game that I play (Dungeons & Dragons Online) is excellent, and performance through the work docking station is also excellent. The only thing that is a little bit of a pain is that if I want to switch inputs, the series of buttons one must use are on the back on the right side, and they’re a little difficult to manipulate. Other than that, this has turned out to be an excellent value.Overall, if you’re looking for SOME gaming performance on a budget, this is something that I would seriously consider. It’s not going to render Microsoft Flight Simulator as well as a high-end brand with all the specs. What you’re sacrificing in quality, you gain back (and then some) in price. I’ve been so happy with this monitor that I’ve purchased another. As such, I can highly recommend this as a budget-friendly option.

Resolution and Color rendering is similar to my expensive monitors.
The media could not be loaded. In my graphics design work, resolution is important and I need multiple monitors (my internal laptop screen, plus 3 external monitors). But, I didn't want to spend a lot of money for a third external monitor. I saw this Arctic Pro 27" monitor and thought if it didn't render the quality I needed, I would be able to send it back. However, I was seriously impressed. This 27" Arctic Pro features full HD resolution and 100Hz refresh rate. Even though my work depends on being able to detect and produce quality rendering, there isn't enough difference between the picture quality of this monitor and my expensive monitors to make a notable difference.I did not rate the sound quality because I have an exterior speaker set up.PROS:Power, Setting buttons are very easy to access.Stand is sturdy, so monitor is less likely to tip.Monitor angle is adjustable.Plug and play with either HDMI or VGA (which I needed because of 4-monitor set up).Was very easy to set up in a 4-Monitor configuration.VGA and HDMI connection ports are easy to access.CONS:The only con I can think of is there should have been an on/off indicator light (blue/red) on the power button, making it easier to determine what power state the monitor is in, but not a game changer for me.CONCLUSION: Excellent value; surprisingly good quality.

Incompatible with Ps5
If you’re looking to get a monitor that runs 120 fps with the Ps5, this isn’t for you. Wish that was clear in the details but that’s about my only complaint. It worked perfect with my computer and its overall really good value. So yeah, get this if you want a great value monitor for pc but don’t get it if you’re a console gamer.
