Complete Piano Concertos in Full Score (Dover Orchestral Music Scores)

I'm very pleased with this edition of the Beethoven Piano Concertos in full orchestral score. It's easy to read along with and opens flat very nicely without damaging the volume.

I got this for my boyfriend, who's a young professional pianist and absolutely loves anything and everything Beethoven, and also loves studying scores. It's an extremely nice, clean score and it's bound nicely. Dover is really the best for scores, and it came well before the shipping deadline. Absolutely worth the very reasonable price!

Dover is usually known for their cost-efficient yet legible music scores. In this way, the Beethoven Piano Concertos don't disappoint. It is always helpful to see which instruments are playing what parts in a given piece, especially if one is studying the music for class or performance. The full score helps to see how the parts interweave; it can also help the soloist figure out how to "orchestrate" their sound on the piano, especially when motives are tossed back and forth between the different instrument choirs.However, *please* be sure to fully read the description. Pianists, if you are looking for just the soloist's part with an orchestral reduction/accompaniment, THIS IS NOT IT. I made a mistake and didn't carefully read the description before purchasing. However, the score is worth the money I paid ($15 for all 5 concerti? Definitely.), so I will be keeping it in my collection.

Beethoven's 5 Piano Concertos are masterpieces. The edition is amazing, especially if you're playing the concertos with an orchestra. It's also great if you are a music student who loves Beethoven's Concerti and just want to follow the full score, or study it. Oh, and the price is fabulous.

Clear printing- nice paper!

The score feels great in the hand, lays open well for easy reading; print us clear but sometimes the scores are too close to each other on the page. Overall an excellent value.

I have several scores from this series. All are clear and well edited and presented, and easy to read. The music, of course, is sublime.

A4サイズの大型スコアで、音符の印刷がポケットスコアよりも大きく、見やすいです。ベートーヴェン自身が作ったカデンツァガ巻末に掲載してあります。第一番第一楽章＝三種類、第二番第一楽章、第三番第一楽章、第四番第一楽章＝二種類、第四番第三楽章。ピアノ用の楽譜にはカデンツァガ載っていますが、ポケットスコアにはカデンツァ掲載がなく、このDover版はとてもありがたいです。その代わり、大判四百ページほどの重い本なので、例えば第一番第一楽章の本編から巻末のカデンツァまでページを繰るのは案外と大変です。何度も繰り返しているとさすがに面倒になって来るので、結局カデンツァのみ掲載の薄っぺらい楽譜集を別に買ってしまいました。
