ALL of this “non-gmo” popcorn is a ruse, since there is no GE equivalent. It’s like calling something “non-gmo water” or “non-GMO salt.” A huge insult to our farmers. So that is why I am buying this brand; it has not bought into that ridiculous “non-gmo” hype. **Q: What is the expiration date on this please?** A: In support of what the others asked, I will add that it is printed as a "Best By" date, not an "Expiration Date". As such, it is basically a suggestion from the manufacturer as to how long you have to use it to appreciate it at what they feel is its best taste/freshness. My box had 8 months left when it was delivered. I expect to pop 36 bags in little more than one month... **Q: What is the expiration date on this popcorn? A case seems to be a lot but I can store it if t he expiration date is good.** A: I've noticed the expiration date on the case is close to the time that I buy it. That said we take about a year to go through a case and it's always fresh tasting and delicious. I’d suggest contacting the seller directly ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Favorite for Largest, Fluffiest Kernels! *by M***Y on August 13, 2021* This brand's white popcorn produces the largest, fluffiest, yet crunchiest popcorn kernels, plus, it's a great price! We prefer white popcorn because it produces a lighter popcorn texture. To achieve optimally large kernels, you'll need to test different heat settings. I find the best setting is usually a smidgen above the number below medium. For example, if the highest setting is 6, then your medium setting is 3, the number just below is 2, so dial the stove's heat setting up 1/4 above that, approximately 2.25.Here's how I cook popcorn on the stove top in the pan:1. Use a heavier bottomed pan, if possible, for better heat distribution.2. Use corn, canola, or Peanut oil. I prefer peanut oil as it imparts a slightly nutty flavor to the popcorn.3. Measure the oil so that it's somewhere between 1/8" - 1/4" deep.4. Heat the oil at the heat setting mentioned above.5. Wait 30 seconds for the oil to heat, then add enough popcorn kernels to cover the bottom of the pan. Add a lid but place it ajar just enough so steam can escape but not have a large enough gap for popcorn to fly out of the pan.6. In the meantime, melt 1/4 - 1/2 stick butter in the microwave for 10-12 seconds just long enough for 3/4 of the butter to melt. Take the butter out & hold the cup Swirl periodically until butter melrs completely. Let it sit for 2-3 minutes for the butter to cool down. Pouring butter when it's too hot onto the popcorn causes the popcorn to melt. Not good.7. While butter is melting in the microwave & in between swirling of butter, shake the popcorn pan vigorously to allow smaller kernels to fall to the bottom of the pan so they can heat up enough to pop.8. Have a large bowl or other large pan nearby to pour the popcorn into.9. When the popped popcorn reaches the top of the pan to its lid, then grab a pot holder to hold one of the pot's handle while using another pot holder (or small kitchen towel) to hold the lid.10. Carefully carry your concoction over your large bowl/container; use the lid to control pouring the popcorn into bowl. In all likelihood, the popcorn is still popping, so the lid protects you from hot kernels flying onto you (& burning you - those suckered are hot) or elsewhere in the kitchen. It also keeps unpopped kernels in the pan, so that once you've poured 2/3 - 3/4's of the popcorn into the bowl, you shake the remaining popcorn in the pan so the kernels again move to the pan bottom.11. Return the pan to he heat & shake vigorously the whole time (so you don't burn the remaining popcorn) & continue cooking until you can count to three after the last "pop". At that point, turn off the heat & pour the remainder into that bowl or into another (your overflow) bowl.12. Your butter should have cooled 2-3 minutes by now. Give it one more swirl. Holding the butter container about 8 inches above the bowl, slowly drizzle the butter evenly over the popcorn. If the popcorn starts melting or sizzling when the butter contacts it, then stop & wait another 1-2 minutes for the butter to cool down, then try again. After you've drizzled the butter, take 2 large wooden spoons to evenly distribute the butter throughout the popcorn. Sprinkle with a bit of salt (not too much salt, though - you can always add more). These are great, I always stock up on them! I eat a lot of popcorn as a snack, adding different seasonings and these taste amazing. They're consistently fluffy and nearly all if not all of the kernels pop every time. If I've had a bag out instead of storing it away, I just soak them in water before popping them so they rehydrate and you get more kernels popped that way. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Popcorn and all but about 10 kernels popped! *by G***R on September 6, 2022* I poured in just enough to cover the bottom of a pot and got about 3 cups of popcorn out of it!
