This was advertised as a rapid charger. It is for laptops and it does that well. It also charges cell phones well, just not rapidly. That might be more of an internal manufacturing regulator built in by Apple. The construction and finish of this charger is very high quality and should be effective for many years. We use it daily for a few months now without a hiccup. It was a good purchase.

Works great and provides lots of charging options in one universal place.

Only thing I do not like about this charger is the fact that there is no way to tell if it is on, my old charger had LED lights on it that said it was working/ on/ had power, this one has nothing like that. The charger bock is not all fast chargers the top type c charging port is the fastest and after that the rest all are slower till you get to the USB A ports again the top one is fastest the rest all slower. That having been said they all see, to be really fast compared top my older charger, I can charge my IPhone 15Promax from dead to full in about 30 minutes. iPad the same. It is a little bulky but not too bad and having 6 ports is awesome allows you to charge ALL of your devices at one time. The cord from the outlet to the charging block is about 3 feet long (36in) not too bad allows you to plug it in directly to power source and not take up a lot of real estate on power strips/ power supply.

This 500W Fast GAN Charger Block takes charging my devices to a whole new level! Not that I need to charge 5 laptops at once, but it’s certainly nice having the ability to! I’ve noticed that my iPhone and laptop both get a pretty rapid charge when plugged into this block and it’s super convenient having extra USB-C ports and USB-A ports to use simultaneously. There’s a lot of power output capabilities in such a sleek design and compact charger block—great quality and easy to take on the go. 5 Stars!

my big issue with most chargers is that they dont include enough ports for usbc. I run a mac setup with usbc on all ends on my caldigit ts4 and i'm running out to power all my devices. This thing is great it has 5 usb c , just chunk it next to all my dock and can power things on the go. This is also plenty to power my M3 Max while travelling and i appreciate that its light, thought slightly did wish the cable attaching to the dock was longer. I haven't been able to measure the power draw, but my macbook is still charging while i have my 2 iphones, camera and battery pack charging at the same time. Overall, it's great to use at home, great to use while travelling and much more affordable than other brand name chargers of similar capacity.
