I have tried two or three variants of these kind of plasters after a toe operation which required two changes of dressing a day. The Softpore plasters have been the best. They adhere to the skin well which means you do not need to also use medical tape. The non-stick pad is quite thick compared with the mepore plasters which I have found to be much more comfortable, especially if you do not have the option of wearing opentoed shoes - this means that there is effective cushioning against rubbing. The price is very good for the quality and quantity you get.

I had surgery and required some dressings while my stitches healed, purchased these as they are the brand the hospital used. Just as great and had fast shipping and a fab price. Only marked down a star as, although they're individually wrapped, the box itself was not sealed. Given the nature of the item, I would have liked it to be fully sealed.

Following a recent operation, I needed a dressing that would protect the wound without sticking to it. The Softpore 803067 6cm x 7cm dressings have been excellent. They are comfortable to wear, provide good coverage, and most importantly do not stick to the wound when changing the dressing, which helps reduce discomfort and avoids disturbing the healing process. The adhesive holds well around the edges while remaining gentle on the skin. Each dressing is individually packaged, making them hygienic and convenient to use. With 60 dressings in the pack, they also offer very good value for money. I would recommend these dressings to anyone recovering from surgery or needing a reliable non-stick wound dressing.

I've had these 3 years, & from then until now, they stick well. I had a wound between the thumb & forefinger, not the easiest to dress. I dried my skin, cleaned where the adhesive goes, with isopropyl alcohol, & allowed it to evaporate. Peeled off the backing, & pressed the adhesive firmly all around, in sections - try to allow for normal range of movement, & they should remain stuck for a few days. The recent set lasted through 2 showers, & multiple hand washing before the edges started to lift, so did the next set. None have caused irritation, & the size is just about right - it would be great if these were available in smaller, typical 'plaster' sizes. The quality, to me, is good. For me, they're good value for the price.

After suffering an ankle injury followed by skin iinfection, I purchsed these dressings and found them invaluable in protecting compromised skin during the long healing process. Adherence to the skin around the affected area was remarkable, but the non-adherent pad in the centre of the dressing pulled away cleanly from the wound area every time I re-dressed it. Excellent!
