I have already burnt several files to a DVD-R. Love how compact it is. I'm able to wrap the cord back into the bottom and put it back in the original box for storage between uses. Love the simplicity of just plugging it in and being able to use it immediately. The usb cord might be a little short to some, but I did not mind the length. It reads the discs quickly and allows for re-writing so that discs can be used like a flash drive. I'm impressed with the ease of use and compatibility with my Windows 11 laptop. If I had to list some cons (hence 4 instead of 5 stars): It does sometimes sit wonky because of the USB cord. When trying to close the tray with a disc in it, sometimes I absently place my hand on top of the drive to keep it still. This puts just enough pressure on the top to bend it down and the tray catches on it and will not close. Therefore, I have to carefully select how I hold the drive while closing the tray to be sure it doesn't catch. To summarize: It does not feel super sturdy as though it may not hold up in the long term, but the cost, compatibility and ease of use make up for this.
