Used Them Once - So Far So Good...
I don't know what the long-term effects of occlusion training will be, so this is a quick review of the product... I'm obviously new to this type of training so I didn't feel I needed to go super-pro or spend a lot of $$$ at this early stage. I'm not a huge guy by any means, but not small either. I'm 16" at the bicep and had no trouble with arm bands at all - they stayed in place and there was plenty of strap to spare when tightened. The width is good and don't know what the benefit would be for a wider strap at the arm (the strap is going to do the job regardless of the width - perhaps a wider band is more comfortable, more effective - I don't know). In any event, I modified my workout as recommended using lighter weights, more sets, higher reps, etc. And, yes I was pumped noticeably more than without straps (I should have measured - maybe next time). I also should have paid more attention to the tightness in my arms and legs as I was working out, because there was a definite increase that I'm sure should have been adjusted (loosened the straps a bit). Anyway, I'm totally satisfied that the product is a good one. The elastic seems to be aggressive but not overly so, and the fastener is easy to operate, stays in place, and doesn't feel uncomfortable when it's tight against the skin. I like the fact that I got 4 straps instead of 2... I wore all four during the entire workout, which seems to be what you're supposed to do. The PDF instruction book looks to be pretty good. Using the 1-10 scale for how tight you should make things in theory sounds great but I think in practice is still subjective. In other words my inexperienced 5 may actually be an actual 8 or a 9 and thus may be too tight. The only way to alleviate this uncertainty is to have someone experienced help you out, or just keep at it using trial & error. One thing's for sure, I did feel some tingling (but no numbness) near the end of the workout which leads me to believe I may have started off a little too tight and/or should have made an adjustment. I'm probably doing what most people will do - thinking that more is more when it's actually not, and making the straps too tight. Next workout I'll adjust and see what happens. I'm not sure why this product only has one review (now two) - maybe it's new... maybe people just go for the 'featured' item, who knows? I took a chance and am glad that I did. I was looking for a quality set of four straps for one reasonable price, and this item definitely fits the bill. D

Great bands, exceptional customer service
The bands themselves are great. They're comfortable with just the right amount of elasticity. I've been using them now for a while and love the 2" leg bands. They're easy to fasten and the numbered increments are great for ensuring I'm applying the same pressure to both legs. I own a different set of bands with no markings and I'd be in my own head during my workouts wondering whether or not I was feeling the same pressure and getting the same occlusion on both legs. With these bands I can simply focus on my workout. I had a couple of problem with the 1" arm bands. The first problem is that I wasn't able to achieve much occlusion in my arms. I experimented with different pressures and I was able to finally get occlusion, but the pressure was so tight that it felt like the bands were cutting into my arms. My arms are relatively large and it seems that 2" bands work better for me. The other problem is that they are a bit difficult to fasten because they really require two hands. So, unless you have help from someone else, expect to use some combination of your hands and teeth in order to tighten these around your arms. Because of these two issues, I realized that ordering the 1" bands was a mistake for me and I should have ordered the PRO-X bands. This leads me to my next point... I emailed Kusha to let him know that I loved the leg bands, but wasn't going to be able to use the arm bands. I asked if I could return the arm bands and pay the difference to upgrade to the PRO-X bands. Literally five minutes later I had a response from him asking for my address so that he could send me the PRO-X bands!...no need to return the arm bands, no need to pay to upgrade... If you're new to BFR, I can tell you that it works. I can also tell you that this is absolutely the company you want to purchase bands from. The bands themselves are great. If you have a problem with them, the customer service is exceptional.

Not bad, but inflatable cuffs are better.
These get the job more or less done. I have a reasonably priced set of inflatable cuffs I use as well. Hot these to have a set that was easier to put on. The inflatable cuffs can be a pain to get the pump valve onto the cuff. They are quite good a occluding blood flow, however. These are my h easier to get on, but they are harder to get right enough, and seem to loosen as you work out. They definitely do restrict blood flow, but nowhere near as well as the inflatables. The difference in price ~$250 makes them worth a try, but you'll get a way more effective experience from a decent set of air pressure based cuffs.

Working great!
I heard about BFR training, and researched it. Once I decided I had to try it, I looked at all the products available on Amazon. This one was the right width for my arms, seemed like a good deal, and so I tried them. I was impressed with how easy they are to use and the follow-up and instruction from the company. I used to be morbidly obese, so my arms are big and loose. I had some muscle, but no definition. I'm amazed that after using them twice a week for a month, my muscles are much larger and it seems like the skin is tightening up. I measured before and in a month I lost 3/4 inch off my bicep. My flaps don't flap as much anymore! For a formerly fat granny, that ain't too bad. I live in fear of sarcopenia, and now I know I can avoid that. No way am I going to be a frail weak old lady!

You get what you pay for...
At the price point I had low expectations and was still kind of disappointed. The latches are not very strong and under high stretch, come undone frequently (for me, at least). It doesn't provide much in the way of instruction, but make sure you use clothing under the straps to protect the skin (tee shirt or leggings, etc). I was able to get sufficient occlusion with the upper extremity straps, but was never able to get sufficient occlusion with the lower extremity straps, no matter how tight I cinched it. I was able to get better occlusion with less discomfort using voodoo floss. ymmv Ultimately I feel like the straps are way too stretchy for their purpose and they don't feel like they have a lot of life in them under such high tension.

These bands give you an incredible pump
I've recently heard about this type of training and wanted to give it a try. The bands were definitely reasonably priced for getting two pairs. I have an injury to my right shoulder so I cannot lift really heavy weights, so with this kind of training, I can get a really good pump without causing further injury. I don't have huge arms so I tried the pair of one inch bands first which worked ok but then I used the one and a half inch pair and they definitely did the trick. I got the most incredible pump of my life in my arms and I have never seen my veins pop as they did. Then I used the wider pair on my legs and the results were the same, one hell of a pump using moderate to lighter weight. I followed the instructions that were given to me in the PDF included with my purchase. Be sure to read the PDF before starting the use of the bands, there are some really good tips you don't want to miss. If anything, make sure you read how to tighten the bands properly and not to over tighten. I'm totally satisfied that the product is a good one. The elastic seems to be aggressive but not overly so, and the fastener is easy to operate, stays in place, and doesn't feel uncomfortable when it's tight against the skin. I like the fact that I got 4 straps instead of 2

Don't buy these. The buckles are very weak.
EDIT: September 24th update. I added a picture of the buckle on the wide bands, which also broke. This product is absolute garbage. I very seriously doubt the accuracy of the reviews here and I adamantly recommend you consider a different BFR set. This set is designed for you to buy and replace, and replace, and replace. The occlusion band sets were delivered September 13th, and I'm writing this on the 21st. I was able to use the narrow bands three days before one of the buckles snapped. There was moderate tension on the bands, with the loose end was secured in the elastic band, and the buckle flush. Nothing out of the ordinary. So imagine my surprise when it breaks on it's fourth day of use. I had been planning on waiting weeks before writing a review, but this event sped things up. Save your money and buy a different set.

Work great, try them!
I was interested in trying restricted blood flow strength training but wasn’t sure how to jump in until I found these! Easy to use and do a great job
