Awesome quality. Great size selection. The hat is light weight, comfortable and is a great sunhat for Florida.

Great looking, rugged headgear for the demanding adventurer, and those who admire them.
I purchased the Tilley LTM6 Airflo about 2 weeks ago and it has quickly become my favorite hat. I chose the olive color, because I think it looks great. The hat itself is extremely good-looking for what it is, and has a bit of an Indiana Jones vibe. Living in the Palm Springs California area, where temps reach 115f and above in the summer, it's important to keep your dome cool. The LTM6 is a broad brimmed hat with mesh ventilation. It's fairly light, though to be honest, for a quick trip outside I will sometimes just grab an ultralight bucket hat. But when I'm going to be under the sun for any significant amount of time, the Tilley is my go-to. The broad brim shades my ears and neck. As other reviewers have mentioned, it's possible to tuck the two cords into the secret pocket to get them out of the way, though it's slightly awkward, and creates a small lump inside the hat. My only (very small) gripe is that I don't particularly need the 2nd cord (extra boot lace), and it's a little bit in the way. That said, this is the best hat I've ever owned, and has become one of my cherished possessions. Recommended!

This is probably the best hat ever made
Waterproof, blocks sun, breathable, good looking, for formal or backpacking. Has unique strap system which will keep hat on your head in strong wind. I wear this hat kayaking in heavy wind and love it. Suggestion for Tilley: make video showing how to adjust the 2 straps and show hat performing in wind with sind speed indicator. Increase wind till hat blows off. My guess is that would be 40 to 50 mph. Second suggestion for Tilley: have stow compartment for straps, when not in use the hat is hard to put on without the straps dangling outside the hat.

No longer made in Canada
No longer made in Canada...but in China. The hats now feel more plastic-like. and the brim shape is a bit distorted. Hopefully after washing it will return to a bit better shaped brim. A bit disappointed after owning my previous Tilley LTM6 for 11 years.
