I ordered this as a freestanding wine cooler however, after changing my kitchen cabinets and countertops, Ido have the option to install it in the kitchen at some point. I love the wood shelving as well as the style. There is an LED light which stays on for 10 min. then will automatically shut off. After learning about the copper pipes and hopefully prevent potential Freon leaks I decided to go with that.I do like that the door is reversible, so if you needed to you can change it-along with the set of keys to lock the door. This also claims that the stainless steel door keeps good insulation so the wine stays cold and refreshing. I also like the dual zone and smart temperature control and it also has a temperature memory function in case of a power outage. This also has energy saving compressor, and is self-cleaning.So far I absolutely love this. As far as the noise - I do believe if I had this installed into the kitchen cabinet I probably wouldn’t notice the noise. However, there is an intermittent noise – it is not constant and because we have it in an area in another room I honestly don’t even notice it. Although another review nearly prohibited me from buying this-because of its claim to being too noisy – the customer claims it was 45 feet from their bed. Which is why I have given it five stars as I don’t feel this is very noisy.Please note in my video you do not hear any noise at all, and then of course when I open the door you can hear it kick in. Then when I press the light -the noise settles down. So just as the start of the video there is no noise at all. There is some intermittent noise but as I said -it is not bothersome to me and I believe if this was installed into your Kitchen or a wet bar – you wouldn’t even hear it.If for some reason I need to update my review I certainly will, as I have not had it for very long. However, I am extremely pleased with it, and even though it is simple -I love the design and the look.

i love the look of itit is big and it can hold a lot of bottles!i am a renter so now i can not have it built in but later when i get a house i will have it put in my kitchenvery nice

Watch out
Very unhappy with the noise level and it sounds like a wash machine when running! Was over 60db. Could not sleep with our bed being 45 feet away!!!Big issue returning it via UPS. They delivered it but when asked to pick it up they said they couldn’t handle frieight. Bought the Wine Enthusiast 18 bottle one - it is very quiet and works great.

Super stylish fridge
This wine cooler is big and specious for my collection. Works great it is very easy to use. I haven’t had an issue with the nose level I think it’s pretty normal. The only small issue I had was that UPS wasn’t very careful and it has a small dent but not really noticeable unless you go searching. Do note that it comes on a small pallet that helps protect it. I definitely think this was a great addition to the house and definitely worth the price.
