Once inserted, I've been able to negotiate it into my sigmoid colon without it curving in on itself; I can feel the tip at my left hip when fully inserted to the suction cup. I've found the key to inserting it for me is to fold the toy double, so that a bit of the insertable end sticks out. That provides enough rigidity to get insertion started, and enough of a grip so the toy doesn't slide through my hand as I try to insert it. Once the insertable end is well into the anal sphincter I can let go of the double fold, and guide it in the rest of the way. Yes, this is easier said than done.
