Great blow gun, but...
Good solid tool. Very comfortable in the hand. And most importantly the trigger mechanism on this Milton blow gun regulates air flow very well. With a gentle squeeze you can easily go from very low flow to an impressive blast, and everything in between with precision. At first I didn't like the "kwik-change" mechanism because, by-design due to the OSHA air escape slots, a lot of air blows directly back into your eyes. How nice. The solution I found is to use tips (not included with this blow gun) that focus flow without too much restriction. I stumbled on to this because I also bought a cheaper 17-piece blow gun kit as well to see if I liked it better. The answer is NO, definitely not. BUT I did find out that the attachments that came with the 17-piece kit made the Milton blow gun a fantastic versatile tool. Yes, I'm keeping both. ☺ Note to Milton, you might want to include one or more less restrictive air tips with this gun.

Perfect for bench use!
I absolutely love mine. I threw the three piece kit in the trash first thing. Tricks are for kids. The core air gun is as nice as any I've ever used.

Doesn't work quite right right from the start
Really don't know what to make of it...When I first got the unit, it was "disassembled" as in the pic.The long brass fitting is a slip fitting to be installed on the tip of the main blow gun body with the other two attachments to be screwed on.I had a REALLY HARD TIME pushing the brass slip fitting onto the tip. When I tried to use the blow gun, I felt gusts of air blowing back at me on my hand (that was holding the blow gun).I then pulled the brass slip fitting off just to see what was wrong...There's an o-ring inside the brass slip fitting that was damaged. Now, I didn't jam the brass fitting on - I used enough force to get the brass slip fitting to install on the tip.The o-ring design doesn't look good - it looked like it was captured by some metal ring? The metal ring that retained the rubber o-ring looked like it caused most of the damage.Whatever the case, the unit still blows air out the tip, so I just use it like that...I don't think this is how it's supposed to work, so that's why just the 3-stars.I've bought several Milton products due to their name and reputation, but this was a disappointment.

OSHA Makes it Mostly Useless
There's an unwritten rule that any time you add OSHA safety features to anything, you significantly decrease its usefulness to anybody smart enough not to eat the contents of the silica gel package that says, "Do not eat." This tool is no exception. It's well made, but precisely what should be its most useful feature -- being able to inject compressed air via a rubber tip at a known, controlled pressure from an upstream regulator -- is utterly defeated by the presence of the venturi valve in the body. Yes, it's usable for getting low-pressure air onto a workpiece, and I'll probably use it for that with my lathe and milling machine (once I've vacuumed up the swarf). And it does keep the pressure low enough that I'm not likely to injure myself (which I wouldn't do anyway) or drive swarf up into the leadscrews or ways of the machine tools. But my reason for buying this was to be able to push air into a pneumatic system to test it for leaks. And for that, this tool is utterly useless. I'm falling back on getting a few air fittings and some PVC pipe to make what I need for testing. (I'm trying to calibrate a few Bourdin tube pressure meters. And although I know an air nozzle isn't accurate enough for that and I'll have to use the custom setup anyway, it would have been nice to be able to at least budge the needles with this air injector. Alas, with the venturi port there, all the air into the tool is coming right out the back side.Sure would be nice to have tools not designed for the lowest common denominator of stupid. But you can't get lawn darts or any of the fun spring-loaded toys of my childhood anymore, either. And lacking those, how else is Mr. Darwin to do his job effectively?
