The media could not be loaded.  Great product, I loved it. Item came well packaged, easy to install. I used the stands instead of mounting it to the wall. The look is stylish, the size is just right, and the function is amazing. It has high/low power modes, a number of timer options, and a wide range of temperature settings. It heats up instantly, while the fan is very quiet at the same time. Not to mention the beautiful flame effects with 9 different colors and 5 different levels of brightness. The crystals used to reflect lights make it even more vivid. This electric fireplace is just a perfect addition to our living room.

I had given a 3 star review when the first GMHome 50” fireplace was delivered to us back around 12/22/18 b/c it stopped blowing heat from the unit immediately. I contacted the company which they responded right away and though, it took some time to get it resolved they took full responsibility w/o any hassle and sent us a brand new one (January, 2019) which we absolutely love. We had it installed into the wall under our mounted TV in our basement and the unit works great and looks beautiful. I do wish they had a customer service phone number to contact them but, all-in-all they do stand by their products and did the right thing for the customer. I changed my rating to a 5 star rating and would order from them again.

Compared to other electric fireplaces, this inexpensive one, in my opinion, is just as nice as the expensive ones. Of the eight color options, three are in the green family, which I think is a little much. Wish there was a yellow option. We're building out a wall to house the unit for a perfect fit, so I hope it lasts. Although not installed yet, we have already plugged it in to watch the flames and learn the remote control, and everyone thinks it's actually super cool. Provides much needed bit of heat and lots of ambiance to our rec room. All in all, great electric fireplace at a super price.

After an extensive research we had nailed don on GMHome fireplace for our media room in the basement. When the product arrived we noticed that there was a slight damage in the front. We called the GMHome customer service and explained the problem. We were put in touch with Grace from the customer service department who was very courteous and carefully understood the situation and indicated we send a picture of the damage to assess whether the GMHome technical specialists could repair the issue. With a quick response, she immediately came back saying they will process and ship a replacement unit asap. This was extremely helpful as we were on a very tight schedule. The fireplace arrived on time and intact and we were able to install it without any issues. It looks great, works great and I'm a very satisfied customer. Excellent customer service and follow-up and product. Thanks again Grace and GMHome.

Theres 2 reasons this is only a 4. 1) You can only set the timer and change the color with the remote. 2) The beep that occurs when every you hit any button is ridiculously and unnecessarily loud. I will be disconnecting the speaker or something soon because its so loud.Other than that the unit is great, to be fair i havent used the heat much as its summer here but thats not really the main reason i bought it anyway. The colors are cool, the features all work as you would expect, the flame looks "real" or at least good enough. Make sure you find both bags of crystals in the box as i found the 2nd bag while breaking down the box to recycle it. Looks way better with both bags of crystals in there. Anyway, would recommend.Measurements (i got the 40") listed in the pictures were accurate, which was good since i build the pictured console before the fireplace arrived. Install is super easy.Edit: so the speaker is hard soldered to the circuit board, it's a small black cylinder with a hole in it. Heres what I did to get the beep to be about 10% of what it was.Lay the unit on the glass front side. Remove the screws of the back panel. The center of the panel is mildly adhered with a piece of double sideed foam tape so just slowly peel the panel off. Once open the speaker is in what would be the top right corner of the unit. I cut a small piece of the foam tape off and jammed pieces of it into the speaker hole with a toothpick and then put one piece of tape over the hole. This took 90% of the beep volume away. Super glue into the hole would work too, I just didn't have any. Good luck!

G M 60" HEATERDOES WHAT IT CLAIMSRECEIVED THIS IN RECORD TIME WITH MY PRIME MEMBERSHIP.THE ASSEMBLY WAS VERY EASY & QUICK. I WANTED THE FIREPLACE WITH THE LOG SET AND IT SAID IT WAS AVAILABLE.I KEPT INQUIRING ABOUT IT AND NEVER DID GET AN ANSWER I COULD DEPEND ON. ONE OWNER SAID YES IT DID ANOTHER SAID NO IT DOESN'T.COULD BUY ONE WITH BOTH BUT ONLY WALL MOUNTED,SINCE I'M SELLING MY HOUSE I DID NOT WANT TO REPAIR A HOLE AND REPAINT AGAIN AND TAKE IT WITH ME WHEN I MOVE.THEN I HEARD I COULD GET ONE THAT IS WALL MOUNTED BUT, LEGS COULD BE PURCHASED TO GO ON IT. NEVER WAS ABLE TO GET THE ONE I REALLY WANTED.SO, THEY NEED TO WORK ON THEIR COMMUNICATION SKILLS.I WAS NOT HAPPY THAT IT WAS MADE IN CHINA. OH WELL, IT DOES WORK AND THE HEAT COMES OUT THE TOP AND FLOWS INTO THE ROOM FORWARD. EVEN WITH HOURS OF RESEARCH IT MET MOST OF MY REQUIREMENTS EXCEPT THE LOGSET WITH LEGS. IT HAS A THEREMOSTATE, OVER HEAT SAFTY AND ALLOWS YOU TO CONTROL WITH A REMOTE. THE COLORS AND TEMPERATURE ALL CONTROLLED WITH REMOTE.A FEW COMPLAINTS HAD A NOISE PROBLEM, HAVE NOT HEARD ANY. IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A HEATER, THIS IS EFFICIENT AND IT WILL TURN OFF IF OVER HEATED FOR SAFETY. THE HEATER WAS AN EXCELLENT PRICE FOR WHAT IT IS. I WILL BE INTERESTED TO SEE HOW IT DOES WHEN IT'S REALLY COLD.
