Overall I was very happy with this tape
I used this to create a herringbone nursery wall. Because I was worried about bleeding, I went over the tape with a wet rag as well as a coat of the background color. It held up amazingly well. It was on my wall for a total of about ten days; it did not leave a sticky residue. Overall I was very happy with this tape!

Painters tape squares save hours!
The good news is, these do a good job of masking and do not pull off even fairly fresh (but of course fully dry) paint when removed. Crazy timesavers for faux paint effects, BUT...their measurements are a tiny bit off true and worse, in a way that makes them subtly rectangles instead of squares. The difference is maybe a thirty-second of an inch, you wouldn't think it mattered-- but if you set up a diamond or checkerboard pattern with these they will gradually not touch at the corners or else stray from the straight lines of the design as the small error adds up over distance. Especially a problem if you don't realize they are off and don't keep the short and long sides in the same orientation! As long as you are aware of the measurement issue you can make it work. I would estimate that these squares saved me at least six hours of taping for the backsplash project in this picture. One last great trick my daughter showed me:when using painters tape to mask an area, you are generally working in two colors. Paint the whole wall with two coats of color 1, let the first coat dry for whatever the paint can says and the second for at least 24 hours. Set up your pattern and apply the tape gently press all tape edges so the tape adheres to the wall all along every edge. Then put another coat of color 1 over all the tape edges and let that dry! Try to have the paintbrush travel from on the tape into the open space off the tape. You want to avoid squishing paint under the tape edge. When it's thoroughly dry, paint your open parts with color 2. Remove the tape gently and slowly when your last coat of color 2 is mostly dry but not too hard yet. You'll find the lines are crisp and sharp and your colors are rich and even.I used these squares and the technique described above to paint the backsplash in my laundry room shown in the picture. Two coats of waterborne poly over the top and it cleans like tile, but no grout! And I can change my colors on a whim.

Works great
Did just what I needed. Taped off rough plastered wall for geometric painting. Lines held crisper than expected (expectations lowered due to the rough nature of what it was taped to). I was very surprised more than a month and a half later when I took the tape off (after 5+ coats of paint in most areas) how easily and cleanly it released. (My photo shows green tape, also scotch brand I purchased at the automotive store, I finished with the blue variety and both worked equally as well) I should have bought all blue and saved some money! Tape came super fast.

Works perfectly
I used this tape to make 16 color charts for my oil paints. The lines are perfectly crisp, even with the more watery colors. If have have the need, I will definitely purchase this again.

.....
I can't wait to paint my kitchen backsplash using this tape as my grout lines. The tape doesn't feel real sticky, but as I suck it on to my textured wall it stuck with no problem!

It's Genuine Scotch 3M Tape, worked well for 3D printing
I use blue tape a lot for 3D printing. I've tried other tapes, but the Scotch 3M works the best in my opinion. I used to use thinner tape bought at the store, but it is a pain since you have to be careful to line up the tape perfectly otherwise you will get a seam on your part. The tape will pull off easier at the seams, so eliminating as many of them as possible is key. The wider tape removes seams from lining up a bunch of small strips. For me the tape lasts quite well, I can use the same tape on the bed for multiple prints. So a roll of this will last me for a long time. I gave this product 5 stars for the quality, but took off a star for the price. For the same amount of tape (I ordered 5 inches wide), I could buy smaller rolls (1.8inch) tape cheaper. But considering the amount of use I get out of one roll, it's worth the convenience to me.

Great Quilting Tape
Wife is a quilter and makes numerous quilts for local charities. She assembles the tops of all her quilts but usually sends the final piece to a professional with the proper machine to do the quilting. For the smaller charity quilts he does the quilting herself and used this tape on the quilt to mark where she would sew. Works great and most important does not leave any residue on the material. Who would have thought you could use blue tape this way?

Does What is Intended for Product
I use this to tape off smaller areas on a large pad of canvas paper to practice oil painting techniques. If one is good enough to keep, I can remove the tape with no leakage onto the next space. It is easy to remove and leaves a clean edge. 1/8" is a perfect size for this as it gives me more area for painting. A very versatile product.

Allright for the price.
I really like the width of this (used in model making) but the edges don't give a particularly crisp mask, and I have had trouble with the adhesive pulling off the paint, i.e., a little too strong. I use high-end paint and thoroughly prepare surfaces, and haven't had this problem with Tamiya or Revell hobby masking tape. It's cheap and cheerful, so it's useful in non-critical situations where narrow masking is required. In that sense it's a handy tool best used in conjunction with better tape for critical edges.
