I can read in bed without the aggravation of endlessly rearranging my pillow--and then having to stay stock still or risk having my glasses push on my nose. This is a great relief.Detractions: It is true, as some reviewers say, that the pillow is small. I am a small person, so this probably bothers me less than it would a larger person.How I use it: I put the pillow on top of my regular pillow when reading. When I am finished, I place it to the side. None of this bothers me. But if you are looking for a pillow on which to rest all night, then this one isn't for you.Ease of leaning: the zipper works fine so far. And it passed the "cleaning convenience" test: I removed the cover and hand-washed it by soaking in some sports detergent (WIN brand works great) and rinsing. It dried quickly (I wrapped it in a towel to draw out excess water and then used a hot blow-dryer to assist the process).
