This is a great shoulder brace with plenty of room to add to your ice packs. I ordered the one-size it came in and still had extra room to move around. This would not be a great thing if you are more petite/slim as it may be more challenging to tighten up. Overall it's good material and with needed give to wear comfortably. My shoulder had been sore for about a month when I got this brace. I wore it for about a week and it seemed to get better but then it got worse again. I went to a physical therapist and he told me he would not recommend wearing a brace like this and that he hadn't seen anyone wear one aside from trying to immobilize an arm and make sure the person wearing the brace doesn't use the arm. I'm not sure if the brace helped or hurt my situation but I'm also not an expert in the matter and an expert told me he didn't recommend a brace like this for much of anything.

This brace has helped me so much. Nice design but the plastic peice that holds the velcro strip under the arm slides and it needs something done to keep it in place, it's the only thing that makes it not so comfortable. I plan on sewing around it. Other than that it's adjustable for different sizes and has held my arm close to my body and has helped my pain before rotary cuff surgery but I originally bought it for pain from bursitis.

I injured myself a couple of weeks ago playing basketball. I may pulled on a muscle or a tendon in my shoulder. It seems to be getting better, but still uncomfortable when i raise my hand over my head.I ordered this cuff, finally, and i put it on according to the directions that were given. I have to admit it fits me really well; it is adjustable. It provides this pinpoint pressure and thus helps alleviate tension and discomfort. I wear it throughout the day without any issues. And you can also fit some ice or a warm pad under it for placement.A lifetime warranty is provided; usually when someone provides a lifetime warranty, there is a good chance that the product works.Anyway, I hope my information was helpful to you. The Shoulder Cuff is well made and looks like it provides good support for a sore shoulder. I was not able to use this 'one size fits all' product because I am not one size. I have a 50 inch chest and the shoulder strap just did not fit. One observation is that you will need help in putting the Cuff on as its not a sling.Wished they had a size that fits, but if you are bigger than average I would suggest that this Cuff will not fit you.

I used this today to ice my shoulder and it made a difference, I was able to ice my shoulder without having to deal with the ice pack sliding off. This shoulder cuff is well made and easy to put on after the initial use. This requires a second set of hands to help you with securing the arm velcro, but once that is set, you can keep it there and put this on like a shirt sleeve and strap the velcro on the chest area. There's an extra adjustability on the top of the shoulder if you need a tighter fit. Very happy with this brace, this will definitely get plenty of use as my shoulders tend to get sore after a good workout.

I use the mouse in the reclined position on my laptop and my shoulder and triceps have an unnatural bend when using. It's resulted in pain in reaching and raising it over my head to get things from the cupboard. I needed to rest it and take some of the pressure off and this does the trick, supports the arm and shoulder with an adjustable Velcro connection, and the harness across my chest. Many things don't fit me because I'm too big, but not so much in the chest, it was a little tight, but not so much as I couldn't use it. I felt some relieve after only a days use, so I do like it. Recommended, add it to your home medical supplies, it works well.

I have a perpetually dislocated shoulder, so I'm unfortunately an expert on shoulder braces. This one is useless.- The first issue is that the part that straps around your bicep actually straps around your armpit. Which not only doesn't provide any leverage to prevent motion, but is also irritating.- The second issue is that the velcro-ish tabs are made out of a single material, with no non-adhesive area that's easy to grip.- The third issue is that whoever wrote the instructions had clearly never had a dislocated or broken shoulder. It is in fact possible to put on a shoulder brace with one working hand (loosely close the chest strap, put the brace over your head into roughly the right position, then tighten up the straps). The shown instructions solve the geometry problem by having the patient suddenly grow a third hand.The apparatus also comes with a nice thick velvet bag to store it in. My PT is going to love that.
