Reliable Brand and Excellent Quality Psyllium Husk Powder
I’ve been a loyal customer of Wholefood Earth for a while, and their Organic Psyllium Husk Powder is another fantastic addition to their range. The quality of this product is outstanding—fine, consistent, and additive-free, just as described. It’s a trusted brand that never disappoints, and I’ve purchased many of their products, all of which have been top-notch.This psyllium husk powder has become a staple in my kitchen, especially for making my homemade lentil bread rolls. The powder works perfectly every time, giving the bread the ideal texture and structure. It’s easy to use and blends seamlessly into recipes without clumping. The rolls come out flawless, soft yet firm, with the perfect balance of moisture and elasticity. The 1kg pack is excellent value for money, especially given the high quality. It’s also organic and vegan, which aligns with my lifestyle and dietary preferences. The resealable packaging is practical and keeps the product fresh for longer. If you’re looking for a reliable, high-quality psyllium husk powder, I couldn’t recommend this more. Whether you’re baking, adding it to smoothies, or using it as a fibre supplement, it’s a versatile and effective product. Wholefood Earth continues to be my go-to brand for pantry essentials, and I’ll definitely be repurchasing this!

Wow
Value for money, stunning effect on digestion - started with two teaspoons but after a week or so only one is more than enough.Stunning - because before this one, was taking from another brand (very organic), massive difference -3 teaspoons of other one like drinking bread crumbs and no much difference while THIS ONE - no taste, easy to drink, soo tiny bits but solid, perfect texture and amazing results. Works so great, that I had to reduce to one teaspoon, and wow. Will definitely buy AGAIN, already recommended to friends

Very fine powder
Fine ground husk so not like some others that float in water like sawdust.I find it mixes easily if you treat it a bit like you would making a flour paste. Add a little bit of water till it binds then quickly add the rest and drink before it thickens like paste.Tasteless and works a treat on moving things along in the gut.

Turns purple when cooked
The brand I usually buy was not available so thought I would try this one. Unlike my usual one this one turns purple when cooked. As I was making seed crackers it was not such an issue but I will have to pass on using it to make tortillas. Hopefully my usual brand will be back in stock at some time to use in making tortillas.

Warning: TMI, but helpful information in this review
Packaging wasn't great, had to do a lot of shaking to compact all the powder in to one half of the bag before opening, and the bag is not resealable - best to transfer to a large glass jar, about 70 - 80% of the 1kg bag fit into a 1kg mason jar for me (seal and clasp lid, not screw-top). However, the quality of the powder is great, very fine, and it is indeed effective in binding and easing transition', but (TMI) causes flatulence, and floating of stools, although it seems everyone can react differently. I started by mixing a 1/2 teaspoon in about 200ml of apple juice, then shaking in a small clip-it container for a few seconds to combine and drinking very quickly (it will form lumps) for a few weeks, and have just recently increased to 1 teaspoon in the same amount of juice, but now I hand whisk for 30 or so seconds until lumps are very small, and drink everything through a straw or from the glass, which I'm finding easier than the shaking method, and always chase with 500-750ml water, and ensure I drink as close to 3 litres of water per day as I can. *Update* I have now decreased back to and will stick with 1/2 teaspoon as that seems to be the perfect amount for me, but I will probably test 1/3 and 1/4 teaspoon also.
