It is double stick tape that has no adhesive on it so it can be removed and reused. I am using it to hold cable clips to the back of night stands as well as a plastic corner protector so a painted wall. It holds tightly, but there are limits. I tried to use it to hold the mic mount on a portable radio, but with the small surface area of the mount and the fact that it was mounted vertically resulted in it falling off after a few hours.
