This thing is 'buy it for life'...If you want a good gas can, it's worth every penny...
Haven't even put any gas in this can yet, but first impression is that this is the gas can I've been looking for all my life.Heavy, thick body (6-layer construction per manufacturer description), very sturdy fill cap, dispensing spout is flexible and durable, fuel-dispensing valve is handy and easy to operate right on top of the can. Molded carry handle on top and two on the bottom for tipping/carrying/maneuvering all seem and feel great and functional. All construction seems top-notch, and as long as this thing doesn't leak (which I can't imagine will happen given the way this thing is built) it's the best value gas can you can get for the money nowadays. (There are much more expensive options out there.)I simulated a gas fill on my John Deere lawn tractor and on my Polaris ATV, and it's so much better than the tip-and-pour gas cans I've had all my life, (spilling, slopping gas around, dripping on the garage floor, holding the heavy can the whole time) that I almost had an orgasm. (I'm not insane, I just act like it on Amazon reviews for the public's benefit.) Set this thing on the fender, tank, seat, wherever is sort of flat and level, let the machine you're fueling support the can's weight, push the valve handle, and you're filling your tank, baby. Easiest thing in the world, compared to normal gas cans.Made in USA, parts available if you ever need them, one-year warranty, and I fully expect this gas can to last me the rest of my life. My grandson will probably fill his lawn mower with this thing 40 years from now, and I'm not kidding. I use one of my dad's old steel gas cans that's at least that old. This thing is a much better design, and at least as well-made as the old stuff, even if it is "plastic".Will only be filling the ATV for snow plowing until spring, so hopefully I don't use it much until the lawn starts growing again (depending on Mother Nature and her whims), but I already put it on my Google calendar to order a second one in the spring, and I'll retire all my other gas cans then. Maybe use em for target practice.

Great design that delivers as promised.
I was about to purchase a cheaper has can at Lowe’s when a stranger stopped to tell me about this. I liked the design and decided to purchase. It is much easier to use than my old can. Filling it up without having to twist off the cap is a great feature and filling up my mower is so much cleaner with its bottom mounted nozzle. Very happy with it.

Great fuel can.
Easiest 5gal can to use and not get fuel spills. Probably will get another.

Wow! An EPA compliant gas can that still works properly!
I will start by saying that the EPA has ruined gas cans. All the anti spilling crap that they have mandated has caused me to spill more fuel than the older gas cans every did. This gas can is different. I love this gas can! Very solid, thick plastic walls. I cannot compress it with my hands. Very stable when full of fuel, dosn't tip over as easily as the standard cans. Another wonderful thing, it is vented! When you press the thumb valve to start pouring, it opens a vent so you won't get the gargling and splashing when filling small yard tools. Two things, I wish it poured a bit faster. For small equipment it is great, but if you are trying to empty the tank it will take a couple minutes and keep in mind that you have to lift the full fuel can above what you are putting fuel in (it gets heavy fast.) My wife would not be able to do this for the couple minutes it takes to empty the fuel can. I use it mostly for small items, lawn mower, weed wacker, chainsaw, snowblower, etc, so this isn't much of a concern for me. Also keep in mind, when filling anything with a small fuel tank, the shut off valve (the part that stops fuel from flowing when you release the thumb valve) is at the base of the hose. So, if you wait until the tank is full to release the thumb valve, the gas that is still in the hose will continue to pour out and spill out. Just make sure you release the thumb valve before the tank is full, you'll get the hang of it.Second, since it has the thicker plastic walls that I love so much, you can't see through them, so you need to be carefull when filling it. Most flimsy gas cans you can see the fuel level, this you can't. I think it is worth the trade off though. The heavy solid sides are amazing, they don't puff up when it gets hot, or collapse when it gets cold. All in all, these cans are amazing and I will be purchasing more.

Almost
First the idea for this setup is good. The quality of the plastic used for the jug itself is excellent. It does not expand at all when filled with gas. The spouts all seal well and I actually set it in the passenger flood board and didn’t smell any fumes at all. And again, the set up itself makes it really good for an older man to handle. Now for the negatives and the reasons for 4 stars instead of 5.You need to be careful with both in and out spouts. They function well but I’m wondering how long they will hold up. The biggest negative is the price as this is after all a plastic jug! Government regulations have caused all gas cans to be way more expensive than they have to be. Is it worth the cost? If you’re older like me then probably so. If you’re younger and stronger with fingers that work well, probably not unless you decide it will hold up for years.

Game Changer
So... our old gas cans were crap. My husband has been suffering from carpal tunnel and they were so hard to use! Even I struggled with them. Now with this gas can it is no longer an issue. Super easy to use and easy on the hands! A little pricey but worth it.

It will last a long time.
This is one of the best gasoline container that I have purchased within the last 45 years. I will never buy any gas container then this one.I highly recommend.
