I read the instructions and its limited to a max 32 GB slower speed card.3rd - The unit is advertised to have a 270 degree field of view; It actually is barely able to capture the whole rear end of the car in front of you at a stop. More like a 40 degree field of view.4th - The unit is advertised as recording at 1080P but I think it records at 240 and just enlarges the output file to 1080P.5th - The video file quality was so bad that you can't make out the plate number of the car in front of you except at a stop.6th - The video quality is worse than the original Apollo moon video; You think I'm being facetious but I'm not.7th - The video records based on motion and creates a new file every X minutes, but on the way home there are periods that were not recorded at all; multiple 4 or 5 minute periods just completely missing.8th - I doubt the quality of the recorded file would be good enough to capture important details of an event or cross traffic due to being out of frame and may not be high enough quality to be useful in court.9th - I could only change the settings from the unit when plugged into a PC USB; when plugged into the car the unit auto records and menu button didn't respond.10th - I can't imagine a single person being happy with this unit and I suspect all reviews that had more than 2 stars are fake.I recommend you take the 17.00 and buy a notepad and pencil and sketch the event as you remember it.The ONLY positive thing I have to say is if you park your car toward something you want to monitor the motion capture may record some event. Although unless they walk up to the car and stick their face in the windshield you probably won't have any evidence useful to the police. ### ⭐ Never Got Use It *by P***E on Reviewed in the United States on October 19, 2019* This seemed like a pretty good deal. The picture quality was ok and adding the needed micro USB card, it seemed to have a decent field too. After checking the camera out to make sure it worked, I then started to install in my car. Unfortunately the retaining nut ( made of plastic ) which is meant to tighten the gimbal, split in two pieces though I had not over-torqued it. So needless to say, I never got to use the camera. It sat on my desk for months and recently, having no way to find or replace this needed part, I gave the camera its final resting place in my trash. Caveat Emptor, Let the buyer beware. I would have been better off had I given twenty bucks to a homeless person. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for the price *by R***E on Reviewed in the United States on September 18, 2018* With traffic where I live getting worse and worse, I decided to pick up one of these dash cams so I could be prepared in case I got into an accident. So far I haven’t had to use it in that way yet (knock on wood), but so far it seems like a great little camera for the price.It’s pretty easy to get going - I was able to start recording things pretty quickly. I still need to play around with the menus a bit more to get a feel for all the different features though. I like how you can fold the screen in a and still record so it’s not distracting while I’m driving. Picture quality is really good as well.
