My Gf has wanted my blood for awhile now. For Valentine’s Day I delivered! I used a butterfly needle collection tube and these vacutainers worked great! Once I got a flash in the butterfly needle line I hooked it up the EDTA tube and it filled all the way up. I gently flipped the tube over around 10 times as suggested to make sure that the anti-coagulate was properly mixed in. It’s been a few days since I’ve done the collection and no coagulation! Quality is they don't leak, functions as expected for blood collection transfers for debt collectors that require blood submissions on a weekly basis. Great value for the money and durability. Been using similar blood collection bottles for a debt collector since West Asset Management, they know their stuff. As on most medical/vet items do a test on a spare collection bottle to QA the batch.

I used these for a themed party we had and it was a success. I wanted to use these as blood tubes. I put fingernail polish in them and once it dried, it really gave the illusion it was blood. Everyone thought it was so cool.
