This tool was very disappointing. It does not connect to the "electric" part to the vacuum and therefore has little to no suction. I wanted to return it, but I missed the window. Will probably only buy directly from Dyson.

I have a Dyson Gen5 and I don't have many of the extra tools that can fit it. I watched a video online about cleaning a mattress and the person recommended a cleaning tool specifically to use with a vacuum for a mattress. I just got a new mattress and I want to keep it nice so I got this cleaning tool to keep it clean. Since the mattress is only a few weeks old, I don't need to clean it yet so I used this tool to clean some upholstery. It fit my Dyson Gen5 and I used it to clean a sofa. It cleaned it okay but I have dogs and it did not get up all of the dog hair, I need to use a brush for that but other than that, it worked good. The tool is made from plastic and it fit my Dyson vacuum but I could see and feel that this isn't made by Dyson since the plastic is thinner than a Dyson product but it gets the job done.

This crevice tool fits my Dyson…it looks like an original Dyson product.

This thing doesn't suck. But that's the problem. It's supposed to suck. For some reason, they put gaps on either end so you're really just pulling air from the sides and not from the bottom where your target surface is. Also, they put a weird red scratchy squeegee thing on it that is supposed to grab things on the surface and pull them into the vac, but instead, all the hair just gets caught up in that. This is a horrible, horrible product. Just awful.
