After I bought a new Samsung TV, I watched videos on how to use it and its capabilities.The host recommended this remote control because it is easier to understand and larger than the original. He’s right!In my pictures, I put this remote between my Dish remote and the TVs original. This shows the relative size difference.I’ve only had the remote for about 30 hours and the TV for about 60 hours. I’ve already given up on the original “smart”, solar powered, too small for my hand, original Samsung remote. That’s only a microphone for me to use for the TVs voice control or search engine that I’ll probably never use.If you have, or if you’re looking to buy a less than 4 year old Samsung smart TV, I recommend you get this remote too.No programming needed, just insert two AAA batteries and it’s ready.Edit, 13 months later: I’m needing to replace this remote because my now 7 month old puppy has finally destroyed it.She has also destroyed the original remote, so I’ve ordered two more of these.
