Trying to light with a Zippo was a trial but we got there eventually. I found lighting for a few minutes then blowing out the flame gave you more fumes. This also prolonged the life of upto 8 hours, if left to burn like a candle this would last 2 hours max.Well recommended IF used correctly, light let burn for ten mins then blow out flame, leave wick to smoulder until it goes out, then repeat process. I can easily see this getting 8 hours ish from a candle. The photo shows how much is used after 2 hours of burn in the garden at night in a breeze.Most importantly, we were protected well from the nasty mosquitos.
