Scavenger Hunt VHS

This is one of my favorite movies. It is a fun-filled comedy that still holds up today. It has laughter, excitement, and even a few heart-warming moments. The cast includes many of the stars of its time, some of the best comedy actors of all time (James Coco, Tony Randal), and also a few cameos of entertainers at the beginning of their careers (Meatloaf, Arnold Schwarzenegger).

How this movie hasn't made it to DVD is beyond me. I saw this when it first appeared in the theaters and I've been watching it since it was released. Liz Torres - "You stole an ostrich?" - to Ruth Gordon's "I Pearl Harbored the mothers" and Richard Mulligan's "Brp, Brp, Brp" as he danced his way along the hall wrapped in gauze! I try not to play it too too often as I don't want to wear it out....but it's such a great feel good movie. And you just want to smack Georgie and Mildred. If you haven't seen it - rent it. If you can BUY IT!

Saw this movie when I was in junior high. I loved it then and I love it now. One of those movies that was remembered in detail from the times I saw it years ago until I was able to finally purchase it through Amazon. As funny and entertaining as I remembered. Got our daughter's middle name from this movie. Excellent family film.

I waited and waited for the dvd version of this film but it never came. So despite the fact that I did not really want a VHS copy, I really wanted to see this hysterically funny movie again. My favourite line was and still is "Montclair, they have killed Montclair". I won't spoil it for others by telling who Montclair is, so you will just need to watch the movie and find out.

This movie is so funny and was really hard to find, it has cost over 70.00 for it but found through Amazon I found it cheaper and able to afford. Is a great movie and enjoy laughing.

I am so glad that these moives are coming out. I really like this one and the fun that is in it. I hope to transfer this film on to DVD sometimes. For those of you who like Dirk Benedict and want to see him in another light, this is a good movie to see him in a comedy.

I was very disappointed by this. Scavenger Hunt is one of my all-time favorite films. Hilariously funny doesn't even begin to describe it. This print, however, is truly lousy. The image is oddly distorted throughout the entire film. I have a VHS copy that is far superior to this.

In a couple of spots the DVD pixelates. It does not appear to be a true copy from the production company. More like it was recorded from VHS to DVD (the "video calibration" that pops up on the screen and the photo copy of the VHS cover tend to lead us to this conclusion).
