great product. Very sturdy and well built. Threaded over 30 pipes and never had a problem and still going strong. Highly recomended.

Love this tool and works great. Only issue is the instructions are actually incorrect. They say to have the “dial” facing the wrong way for cutting and reverse. For what actually works, cutting in the instructions is reverse and reverse is cutting. Otherwise great product and well made.

For me the purchase of this threading kit was well worth it even if I have no future use for it. I was able to thread the stub of pipe sticking out of this piece of concrete. Now I can connect it to the upstream source and be done with the repair job. The alternative would have been to bust the concrete and chase the pipe to a point where I could make a new connection to the source. And then come back to repair the concrete. I used thread cutting oil and plenty of it. Don't be shy. It doesn't hurt to back off the threading and clean the cutters but it isn't required to do so.

Not usable for the purpose described. I purchased this to repair threads on a 3/4" water pipe. I could not get the 3/4" water pipe die over the pipe and thought the problem was the pipe was bent. Later I tried a brand new pipe and had the same issue. Might fit if I took a file and removed the paint from the interior of the tool. Might not.............

I needed this to thread black iron pipe, 3/4 NPT for wood pipe clamps. It works great, the quality is excellent. I would note that my vise could not hold the pipe. I needed to spring for a pipe vise and bolt it down to my steel bench.

does the job. I only used the 1/2 and 3/4 die sizes. Handle isn't the most comfortable to work with. Make sure you use cutting oil while threading. I was threading pipe to make wood clamps
