This food works wonders for allergies. It’s seemingly a high quality food, my cats have no problems with digestion, and they love it. The larger bag lasts me roughly 2-3 weeks with 3 cats, and even with my mom having extreme cat allergies, she has no issues with them anymore. When we got our cat she had soft, silky fur. We thought we might have some allergy problems with her, but we weren't certain. Just in case we started her on Purina Pro Plan LiveClear dry Cat Food. I don't remember how badly she was shedding then because she was on it for quite a while. But she's older now and getting too heavy so we switched to LiveClear Weight Management Formula. We noticed she was definitely shedding badly and her fur had become coarse. After a while she started coughing up big hair balls. I didn't brush her at first because she's short haired, but I started doing that. I had to do that at least every other day or the shedding was really bad, the shed hair would get up around my nose and drive me crazy. We then bought Purina ONE Hairball Formula and mixed it with the LiveClear Weight Management half-and-half. It didn't take very long and her fur started to get soft and silky again. When I brush her now she doesn't shed much at all. We will try her on the hairball formula only and see if there are any allergy issues. Sometimes it's hard to tell if it's cat allergy or hay fever. I had an allergist tell me that the allergy cat foods don't do any good. But so many people give the LiveClear Weight Management cat food good reviews, so it must relieve some people's allergy issues.

My cat likes this food and he is all black, and even my kids noticed less dander on him. My boyfriend has a cat allergy so this in combination with the pet spray has really helped when he comes over.

This has been great for my Senior car. Helps with her stomach issues and skin sensitivity. Her summer skin seems much better with her itching slowing down. I recommend at least giving it a try .
