I have been so pleased, and amazed with the quality and capacity if Rolite that I've taken the time to post a real life comparison. The red tube, is Pro Honda Metal Polish and Restorer, recommended by a longtime motorcycle enthusiast that has trophies that represent "show" bikes. This product was more expensive than Rolite, and I have used it on several different surfaces, not just the brass you see here. The other product is White Diamond Metal Polish. Both tests were performed using basic supplies, one paper towel of the same brand folded the same number of times. Product was applied and allowed to sit for several seconds before beginning to clean. By far, Rolite is the best for cleaning all metal surfaces, but especially those that have the ability to shine. The White Diamond performed considerably well, the Pro Honda did not. Keep in mind that these photos are after using Rolite "Pre" Polish. Review: You need this if you are rehabbing vintage metalwork - I used this on an antique brass floor lamp that belonged to my grandmother which hadn't been cleaned in at least 30 years. I hit it with regular polish and the grunge wouldn't budge. Using this product required a fair amount of elbow grease and a lot of cleaning rags, but the results were worth it! I would recommend wearing gloves as it is petroleum based and is hard to get off your hands.
