Remington PG6025 All-in-1 Lithium Powered Grooming Kit, Beard Trimmer (8 Pieces)

I bought this almost exactly a year ago. I am a female, and I use it to trim my cooter hair down to a manageable fuzz before shaving.Ladies. Why has no one told me about this? If you are considering getting an electric razor for down there, DO IT. I only paid $15 and it's still going strong. No more razor burn. No more fancy $30 razor blades. Cuts the time and effort of shaving down by more than half. What used to take me around thirty minutes, now only takes five or less.I cannot recommend this enough.

Had it less than a week and it died. Took it apart to see what was wrong. Most small battery operated electronics develop a faulty connection and are otherwise *perfectly fine* and fix-able :)To my disappointment, it looks as though this shaver is cheaply made, with numerous points throughout where wires& solder make contact with other components, causing it o short out.Disappointing to say the least. Hoping either the seller and/or Remington reach out to make it better. Until then, I’ll go back to my straight razor. No wires necessary;)Edit: as a previous reviewer found, the battery is still a rechargeable AA. They did not make this unit with longevity in mind...

The trimmer worked really well for the time I had it (~3 months). I mainly bought it to use as a beard trimmer but the extra attachments like the hair trimmers and foil head were a good bonus. Unfortunately, after the first charge ran out, the trimmer would no longer hold a charge at all. I have no idea if this is due to water damage from rinsing the various heads under the sink, or simply an issue with the battery (that many other people in the reviews seem to be having). While the trimmer itself is a good functional piece, having the battery fail after not even a single charge at home is unacceptable, and really destroys the credibility that the product gains from being a good trimmer. After taking the device apart, there was no visible damage so I'm not really sure what the solution would have been.

Worked well for the first few weeks, then the battery stopped holding a charge.Now it won't run at all, severely disappointed and would recommend buying something different.

My experience with this razor was quite awful. I used it about once a week to trim my beard. It did a nice job while it lasted, but after only 6 months it stopped working. The lights would go on, but the razor wouldn't turn on. I reached out to the company to see what they could do for me, but they did not respond. I took it to a battery store and they told me that the battery was dangerous to replace. Basically, I waisted my money with this razor... also, the nose trimmer doesn't do anything.

Pro - It is small, has many attachments that work well, and the blade itself has fine teeth that cut hair well.Con - The battery failed after two uses, and it's all in recycling nowThis seemed like such a great trimmer, but the battery completely died after 2 uses. I charged it fully before use, I did not leave it plugged in for days, I did not run the battery down to empty, it just stopped working. I did not attempt to return it, or contact anyone about it, I just recycled the entire thing and wrote it off as a bad purchase. I ended up buying another popular brand of trimmer from a brick and mortar store in town.

this is truly the best trimmer I've EVER purchased... the price is absolutely unbeatable... I totally see why this item is an Amazon Best Seller and so highly reviewed... I have bought MANY trimmers over the years (and most of them have been all-in-one kits) and they've varied in performance... I mainly use the trimmer for buzzing my head and face/neck down to 1 mm or so (standard military cut for those parts of the year I don't actually shave my head with a triple blade razor... the wife likes when I let my head get velcro-like)... even if this product only gives you a years worth of use, it would still be a great purchase, but I imagine this product will last many years if properly maintained from the get-go... a true winner

Lads we all know why we look at these....For those needing that extra TLC down Navel Road... this bad boy ain't up to the task of saving that special someone from stumbling on the winning entry of an Afro contest. Despite it's alien-looking lithium powered toughness, this Remington lacks the punch of its weaponized brethren. Even with a multiple-over, enough stubble will remain to force you back to lathering up with old 5-bladed faithful to get the precision you want and that others demand. I won't get into specifics... but if you can't handle me at my wrinkliest, you ain't shaving my head.Great for pesky nose hairs and trimming around the ears of your enemies.

What I got this for was to trim and style my facial hair and other sensitive areas, which is what I think it's best for. The heads are interchangeable and washable, so maintenance is easier. Don't expect razor blade closeness, but it's good for all hair types. I'm black and this machine cuts through my thick curls and does not cause ingrown hair bumps to form, so it'll work for all hair types.

After about 6 months of biweekly beard trimming, the beard comb is completely breaking appart. It started with a small crack, and today 2 tooth broke off. I need to by a new one now because its completely useless.

Bought one in the USA but could not charge it over here but on one charge lasted me 6 months. Bought one identical online in the UK and lasted less than a week, I have a multi adaptor for the USA & Europe but it would not charge it. It was not listed on Amazon UK as needing an adaptor. The company, Remington, were rather matter of fact when emailed so did not rate them.

Bought it about a year ago... was my 3rd or 4th one had no big expectation, but in very impressed with it. Works well charge quickly I shave about 2-3 time a week...I have a thick beard and it cut right through with ease without pulling on the hair.For the price can't go didnt and as I mentioned still going strong usually after 6 month I have to throw them out.

Frankly, this, for something that has the sole goal of cutting hair well, doesnt really do that.If youre trying to outline, it doesnt cut very close leaving visible hair, and the foil shaver doesnt work very well at all.Ontop of that, it constantly pulls in use Im guessing due to the motor which sounds like its struggling, managing to spin a lot slower on the full size trimmer.Further more, that light that looks like its 3 bars, is really one led, and doesnt seem to give you any charge status at all other than that it is being charged.Ive left it on for hours with no change after about 30 mins of use.

Wasn't satisfied at all. If I wasnt away I'd return the item. I also received with some grey hairs presumably from a previous customer who returned the item. Otherwise after cleaning it, it does do the job. Just very loud and does not cut as effectively as others I have used.

La verdad no es muy potente pero cumple..Lo bueno:- La batería, yo la cargo cada 2 o 3 semanas (Solo la uso 2 o 3 veces a la semana para rebajarme la barba y bigote)- El precio es muy accesible- Trae su bolsa de viaje- Muchos accesorios muy utilesLo Malo:- Si quieres hacer cortes muy seguido la verdad no creo que te vaya a durar- Las navajas no se ven muy duraderas- No indica el nivel de batería, si no tienes cuidado en una emergencia puede dejarte varado. Y al cargarla no indica cuando ya esta al 100%- Creo que es algo ruidosa- No trae kit de limpieza, le hace falta una brocha por lo menos para limpiarlaEn general si no eres muy exigente y quieres hacer solo rebaje de barba y bigote y nariz esta excelente. O si es primera vez que vas a comprar una rasuradora eléctrica y no eres exigente esta es perfecta para que vayas viendo como funcionan.

I bought this trimmer a little over a year (about 14 months) ago. I've only used it sparingly, and already the battery won't hold a charge; I get about 30 seconds of runtime before it dies. This might be okay if I could just used it plugged in, but this trimmer has a pretty fatal flaw: when it's turned on, even while it's plugged in, it only uses the battery to power the trimmer. The battery is not replaceable, so it's effectively garbage. What the heck, Remington?? I'll be switching to another brand.UPDATE: I just opened the plastic casing on the trimmer to see if I could replace the battery, and much to my dismay, the battery is SOLDERED in. UGH. Down with "disposable" products! I've taken another star off my rating.

Again, this was a gift for my adopted sister - - -she had been paying a barber to trim her hair, about $24 every visit! Well, I can tell you I have never paid anyone to cut my hair ! I cut my own, and I cut my husbands and my friends' hair. I had a wonderful Remington with all sorts of combs that isn't available anymore - and there is probably a short in the wiring - however - there is no one around to fix such things any more . My husband found me this - i was a bit suspect of it's strength of quality and cutting because it's so small - but - true to the Remington name it does a good job - I only wish that it had more combs so that i could do layering - but such things seem to be unavailable now. This, and for an excellent price - does just fine - and I got one for my dear Sis - to go with her stereo. Cheers again! Eriana Marcus

- cant write a proper product review because the product just doesnt work (maybe after my second trial).- I also dont like the combs set that come with it. I want to trim my beard to the shortest length while keeping it. I guess the comb works only if you have a really long beard like Harry Porter ones.- I ended up tossing it, and I believe there are better products than this.

You can see that I am quite a regular customer.I like this trimmer and it was working fine until yesterday......The charging light goes on with no problem, but it does not work anymore. Dead !!I assume that there would be a one year warranty on tis item.....I am ready to send it back to you if you want it and would appreciate very much getting another one sent to me ASAP.. Cordless, built-in lithium battery, 1 charger, 3 attachments for straight trimming, 1 for nose hair and one foil attachment for $20. Also included is a carrying or travel pouch. That says value for money. Initial uses are good. All attachments work well.I wish the pouch is water repellent material for obvious reasons. I wish the pouch comes with zipper for ease of use. I wish it comes with lubricant for maintenance. Time will tell how well it keeps up with longevity and performance. I shall post updates in a year time.

I bought a cheap Phillip's last time it was so cheap made. It crapped out 2-4 months after having it. This thing is SO well designed and the attachments make the shaving life so simple. It's also a Remington. I am so impressed.
