Cardprotector Wallet

The black finish can scratch off over time if left in the same pocket as keys, coins, etc.I wish it could hold more cards, 8 or so would’ve been perfect for me. When I first decided to get the wallet, I fit all of my cards in perfectly. Since then, I have gotten a lot of ID’s for various things and I have to keep some of them separate from the wallet since they wouldn’t fit. I purchased a Money Band to alleviate this, but I still wish it could accomodate more.

I would probably rate this in the 4-4.4 range for a couple of reasons: The lift button and some of the lifting mechanism appears to be made of some lightweight plastic. The button also has a little bit of side-to-side wiggle room which makes me a little worried about its long term, repetitive use and whether it would be able to survive a drop on hard ground. In addition, when the wallet is less than full, you can sometimes hear a "clanging" sound when you press the button. I'm not sure why it does that sometimes, but I can only assume the lifting mechanism must be hitting against the inside of the wallet cavity while it's lifting up the cards [the times it does clang, it seems like the cards dont rise all the way up to their usual height]. Also, the fact that they don't include a band of some sort to hold some cash/receipt/business cards is sort of disappointing [if you want to buy the official band, it is >$15+shipping].Overall it's got great style with a consistent lift mechanism, though I am a little concerned about long term durability as the wallet's slick design does make it seem more apt to slide out your grip and/or pocket and wall unto the ground.

This is a great wallet! But this might not be the greatest gift for someone. In short, the wallet holds 6 credit cards this is true. But the 6 cards cannot have the engraved numbers on the credit cards. With the normal credit cards, about 3-4 would fit easily. This wallet would fit 6 hotel keys most likely without a problem. However with a mix of both, 5 is the maximum without it getting jammed. I do not find the lever that pops up the card that easy to use or comfortable but over time it is okay. I have had this for over a year now and still use it to this day. I am able to fit about 5 cards (thickness of a credit card) in it but anymore and it starts to get hard to push all of them out. The texture of the outside is smooth and does not have any scratch marks even though I often times put it in the same pocket as my keys are in. The case is also pretty hard so don't expect to put it in your back pocket and be comfortable while sitting down. The only problem I have with it, is that whenever I use the eject lever, it will make a tiny squeaking sound which can get annoying if you use it all the time. Other than that, it's a great minimalist wallet!

I got this card protector because unlike most, it provided a way for me to separate the cards with the mechanism and grab the one I'm looking for, rather than fumbling through them in a plain sleeve. I appreciate the fact that it also protects against identity theft by preventing anyone from scanning the cards that are inside of it. It would be nice if it held a bit more, but I feel like it's at a good place in terms of width.

I really like the size of the wallet although I had to go through the exercise of deciding what cards to carry in it. The rest I store in a 3/4" wallet that I leave in the car or my backpack just in case, but I have not needed them yet.I was able to get 6 cards into the wallet (4 embossed credit cards and 2 flat cards). To do this I had to take two credit cards and put them face to face, with one card upside down so that the raised numbers did not touch. Then do the same with the other two embossed cards. I have to be careful to put the card back in the same location and with the same orientation or they get stuck.When I first got the wallet I put too many cards in and thought I was going to break the lever trying to get it open, but I was able to use needle-nosed pliers to pull the cards out.I have gotten several comments from store clerks on how cool the wallet is.

All I want to say is that I found exactly what I was looking for. If you are the type of person that doesn't carry cash and only carries cards then this is the product for you. I use to work at a bed bath and saw customer with this card holder. He told me about it and I decided to check it out. Ive had this for over 7 months and it still works great. Only flaw was that I wish it could hold maybe 2 more cards. But overall two thumps up.

I first saw this wallet on an episode of unbox therapy. Did some research and purchased one shortly after. The size of this wallet is staggering. It is exactly what I was looking for. A very compact wallet that can hold my cards. I usually don't carry any cash so the design of the wallet not really being made for cash doesn't bother me. It does only hold 5 of my 6 cards. but one less credit card is a plus.

So I first heard about this product through YouTuber 'Unbox Therapy' review and I was hooked on the idea of something so small as I like thing to be functional and as small as possible. The item arrived in good time as is also very good for RFID protection with the aluminium coating. I have found however that the mechanism inside will scrape on the inside of the case resulting in an unpleasant scratching sound now and then, but something I feel I can look past. I will definitely now be investing in the complementing money band which will allow storage of receipts and notes but none the less a great product.

Bought 4 so far. Had the chance to watch YouTube and got interested in RFID protection case but saw cheap cases and read the negative comments made me took a chance in the wellknown brand SECRID. Now very satisfied with product and happy to see some retailers putting on sale in some shops at Berlin. Choose a higher price for a better product. This one it guaranteed to be great. Like I said 4 so far and all reach my satisfaction:)

So much to recommend it. I was looking at other card protectors and saw this mentioned (thank you whoever you are). I carry 4 cards and with one neat little movement they are all accessible. Moreover it is easy to hold almost in the palm of the hand. I simply have the little metal container, not the wallet. Because it is small it feels safe, apart from the protective element. I am wondering whether to get another for the other cards I like to have accessible. It has been widely admired, and already I have it earmarked for my Christmas list..

I keep this Faraday Cage in my purse and it holds 3 cards, my driving licence and oyster card. It's very slim and doesn't distort my purse (unlike others I've looked at, which are large), and the pop-up trigger releases the cards when I need them. It's easy to use, small and discrete to carry and it does what it's designed to do. It is more expensive than some but I would definitely buy it again.I bought this item almost 18 months ago and it's still working well and protecting my cards.

I've had a few Secrid wallets products over the years and all are still in use with no issues.There excellent, robust and functional wallets , purchased this one as a gift for Christmas at a great price .
