I needed to pring water to my polytunnel, and was searching for a handy tap.This one was so easy to install, and it is really sturdy.Certainly did the job for me

No dislikes relitively easy to fit although the rawl plugs are flimsy and need changing.Rawl plugs aside tap works well no drips and opens to full in 3 turns nicely constructed and works.Worth considering.

This is my 2nd purchase, one is at the back and this is for the front, really usefull saves dragging a hosepipe around or carrying watering cans a long way.

I write this review based on my decades of experiences as a consumer purchaser, long time amazon top 500 reviewer do it yourself cost cutter.I bought this to replaces similar tap which has been in place for about four years and used several times daily, dogs, garden and hobby. AThe older died due to what I believe to be a failed tap washer. It would have been substantially cheaper to replace the washer but uncertain and a lot more effort.I say the above because replacing old for new is so incredibly simple.Turn off water supplyDisconnect the push on hose connection which makes supply to the tapUndo the four screws holding tap to wall. = all disconnectedTake new tap from box. The square back plate matches my old ready made holes complete with real plugs.Screw to the wall. I used my old screws although there are brass screws with the tap.Connect the hose end connection to the hose connection on the underside of the tap.Turn water supply back onJob done, total time less than five minutes.Delivery to my door in a prompt manner takes the sting out of the price as it is likely to be less expensive at a local builders yard but as said delivery is convenient.Overall. Dead easy to refit which is what this is aimed at. Also you could run a hose to some point in your garden. Screw it to a post and have a working tap a hundred yards from the house it just depends how long the hose is.

What I liked about the tap was it looked well made and it was a good price. What I didn't like was it didn't quite work for me and the application that I bought it for. I wanted to fix this in my qarden to connect a hose to a watering programmer for a dripping system. The programmer needed to screw onto the the threaded part of the tap spout but the distance between the spout of the tap and the fixing plate is small making it nigh on impossible to screw the timer onto the tap. The body of the timer couldn't turn beyond the fixing plate of the tap. I had to adapt the way I connected the timer to get around the issue. Otherwise it is OK.

Though the dimensions are quite small compared to some taps, it is exceptionally efficient and delivers the water where it is required. We use this tap as an extension to our existing one so that it is closer to our veg plot and greenhouse. Great purchase.

Works well, no issues so far. Quality of screws provided is not great but workable.
