Traditional Holder for Classic Safety Razor and Shaving Brush - Chrome-Plated

Very high quality, and surprisingly heavy. Also fits a Merkur 15 razor and a middle sized horn handled brush. Makes for a tidy and smart bathroom!

This is a heavy, solid brass, chrome-plated stand for Mühle shaving brushes and razors. The finish is flawless, and the item has a strong quality feel about it. Stand is maybe smaller than you'd expect from the photo, as there is no shaving brush and/or razor for comparison in the picture. That said, it makes for a neat small footprint, and helps de-cluttering your bathroom, giving your shaving paraphernalia pride of place. I use it for a Gillette Sensor 3 safety razor (head down) and a Mühle shaving brush (also head down). It helps to pre-dry the shaving brush by shaking out excess water vigorously and thoroughly over the sink, to avoid the brush dripping.

Make sure you check the measurements As they will charge for returns. I would say the quality is very high and does look great.

It's heavy, it holds my Wilkinson Sword brush (at a slight angle), and, after a bit of cursing, I simply turned my Parker Md.22 upside down, and just like that it does everything I bought it to do. Perfect. Very nice design. Just a little odd having the razor upside-down, I wouldn't have thought this was optimal to drain the head. I'm going to give my razor a go in the dishwasher at weekends, having a mucky razor is messing with this stand's good looks.

Great little stand thats very well made and not only keeps your DE razor and brush tidy in one place but looks good too. I use an Edwin Jagger DE89 which does fit but needs abit of a push to clip in place rather than slot in so abit of care is needed so you dont cut yourself on the razor but once clipped in it will not fall out. Double check the width of your brush first but it looks like it will fit the most popular sizes, i use an Omega boar hair brush which is massive sits on top rather than fits in the gap but i suspected this would be the case before i ordered a must have for anyone into DE shaving

Feels very solid, well made, weighty and no blemishes on it. It holds my Muhle R89 and Simpsons best badger brush perfectly. I also like that it holds both the razor and brush upside down allowing them to dry better. The stand is a little pricy but you get what you pay for.

I went all out and splurged on the R89 Twist, the engraved chrome-handled shaving brush, and this stand. Wow. If anything speaks of simplicity, craftsmanship, and elegance -- this set does. Others have mentioned that the stand doesn't fit their Gillette Mach 3, and other cartridge razors, but this isn't meant for the mass market razors. It's meant for fine Muhle accessories.

This would seem a good weight stand and the finish chrome looks good too. As it is a Christmas present I don't know what the recipient thinks of it yet, but to me looks a good quality item. Thanks.
